@ Mickie and other Vegas fans.

I feel your pain. Vegas was also the only cancelled show that I liked (and watched every episode except the last two I have DVRd, saving for the right time to enjoy).

This has nothing to do with quality. It is strictly numbers.

Vegas had fantastic production values, great actors like Quaid/Chiklis/Moss/etc…

It was a fabulous period piece that for whatever reason didn’t connect with enough viewers.

Likewise I don’t understand why anyone is watching Revolution, the story is mindless melodrama with an unwatchable lead, who always looks weepy and confused.

Sometimes shows are so bad that everyone can see the failure coming, sometimes there are great shows that get deserved success.

But then there are the more baffling cases were quality like Vegas fails, and drek like revolution succeeds.

In the end it is always just the numbers and what somehow connects with an audience.

    Per Deadline, latest pilot update…

In contention at CBS are the dramas Backstrom and NCIS: Red along with the comedies Friends with Better Lives, Bad Teacher, Jim Gaffigan and The McCarthys (all of which are single-cam except Friends).

The other networks sill have a handful of pilots that may be retooled and eventually picked up for midseason. With the exception of I Am Victor, all are comedies.

    ABC – Bad Management
FOX – To My Future Assistant
NBC – I Am Victor, Assistance, Robinson/Daniels, Brenda Forever

Passed pilots are also being shopped around, the most significant ones being Beverly Hills Cop (Sony drama), The Advocates (WB drama), Murder in Manhattan (ABC drama) and Pulling (ABC comedy).

NBC will be releasing their schedule around 5:00pm EDT.

    NBC 2013/14 schedule-

NOTE: i dont really know the names of many picked up shows, so NEW is a placeholder

    8- The Voice
    9:30- NEW sitcom
    10- NEW drama

NOTE: Biggest Loser as a placeholder.

    8- NEW MJ Fox sitcom
    8:30- NEW sitcom
9- The Voice NOTE: NEW drama
    10- NEW drama

    8- NEW drama(Night Shift)/NEW drama (Chicago PD)
    9- Chicago Fire
    10- NEW drama (high-profile; high-concept)

    10- SVU (22 episodes)

    8- Community
    8:30- Parks and Recreation

    7- Dateline
    8- Revolution
    9- CA

5 new dramas for fall; 2 for midseason
5 new sitcoms for fall; 2 for midseason

  • disney rocks

NOTES: wednesday is drama night; Revolution could be a good 13 episode March-May spring show; Sundays@8 not too competitive as its before 9. IF abc does not move OUAT, it could provide good competition with proper promotion. Plus, 2 new sitcoms on thursdays sandwiched between veteran dramas is a good idea.

  • Dan S

@ disney rocks, as FYI Revolution as been renewed for 22 episodes. It should be on the fall schedule & most likely will move to Tues not Sundays. NBC should stick with a 2 hr comedy block on Thur so Parenthood could still move to Thur but at 10pm not 8pm. Also why would Dateline serve as a lead in to Grimm ? It should stay on at 9pm but hopefully with a more compatible lead in like Believe.

  • Charmed

Is ABC shopping BOP to other networks? It would suit Lifetime or TNT.

  • Sel

I look forward to see the new seasons of:
ABC: The Middle, The Neighbors, Revenge, Suburgatory
CBS: 2 Broke Girls, TBBT, HIMYM, TAAHM, M&M
CW: Hart of Dixie, Beauty and the Beast
FOX: Family Guy, New Girl, Raising Hope
    NBC: nothing

  • rob60990

    CBS picks up Reckless.

Will you guys post the Saturday ratings?

  • HV

I’m with you on The Middle and Suburgatory, though the new seasons of both of those shows will be different, with Axl and college and Tessa living with her mom. I hope we get a surprise in the season finale of The Middle and Axl doesn’t go off to college.

  • Steve

I was shocked that How To Live With Your Parents For The Rest Of Your Life was cancelled so fast. I thought that the ratings were good.I was also shocked to hear that Reba’s new show was cancelled. I Also thought the ratings were good. I thought that both shows were going to be renewed for a 2nd season.

  • jim

What about Sharktank? I hope they renew it.

  • Charmed

Looking forward to new seasons of

    NBC: None
CBS: Criminal Minds, NCIS, NCIS: LA
FOX: Glee, The Following, New Girl

FOX: Sleepy Hollow, Us And Them
ABC: Resurrection, S.H.I.E.L.D, Killer Women, Lucky 7

  • Carroll Tisdale

Not surprised with the networks . They are just as sick as are the american people . I am sure they will add many new sick immoral comedies and reality shows making sure they promote homosexuality . Vegas was becomming a very good show as was Red Widow . My special thanks go out to all three liberal sick networks.

  • Mr Mumble

There’s a lot of devil in the detail still to come out for these renewals. When we get schedules there’ll be some disappointed fans of shows that are being held over until mid-season. ABC especially have a packed line-up and with last minute negotiation hick-ups for “The Neighbors” and “Nashville” they’ll be two of the favorites for a shortened season.

  • David

    @Carroll Tisdale

I see you’re a fan of Fox News.

‘Promoting homosexuality’? Really? I would hope you’re not that small minded.

  • Kissan

I keep on going back to this website to see if they have NBC Fall Schedule on here. I’m getting impatient as well:) LOL

  • Mr Mumble

Kissan, should be released in 13 minutes :)

I’m going to really miss Deception & The Cleveland Show… :(

Well at least Family Guy is still going strong. And everything else I can do without.

    Just cancel Hannibal already!
