ABC has released a 7-second teaser for Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. The full promo for the new series will debut during the Once Upon A Time finale tonight.

Update: now with the full 30 second promo.

  • Peter

I think that Firefly potentially appealed to a wider more family-friendly audience than Dollhose did.

  • Peter

@Jim, “Joss is loved by his fanatics, but to the general public? meh. SHEILD is a coin flip.”

I bet you that’s changed since Joss is now famous thanks to the Avengers and they probably will promote it as, “From the Director of the Avengers, Joss Whedon”.

  • k:Alex

Maybe ‘Heroes’ numbers, but not for long.
It looks like a film, but some who never ends, that’s a problem for me.

  • dexterfan

    JossWhedonBiggestfan, where are you?

  • Raul

I think it should be apart of ABC’s Sunday
    8:00pm – Once Upon A Time
    9:00pm – S.H.I.E.L.D
    10:00pm – Revenge
Although putting it on Sundays cold hurt it’s rating since it be competing against Football with 20 million viewers, the only show I really ween survive ABC Sundays is Desperate Housewives and the first season and first half of second season of Once Upon A Time. I think ABC should take the risk and if it doesn’t work that can always switch the timeslot when they return from the winter break in January. I really hope it’s a hit, I’m not talking LOST hit I’m talking Desperate Housewives hit!

  • a p garcia

This is the shortest teaser I’ve ever seen and if the story is like the teasier a series, then I see a “FLOP”.

  • DaxJackson

I don’t know, it could be something big for ABC… it just depends where they put it.. hopefully a better slot than Last Resort had this season… Don’t make it compete with TBBT.

  • SJ

It’s so funny seeing Richard Campbell (Clark Gregg) acting all serious. :D I only know him from Old Christine…

  • Ted Craig

    @Peter

Last Resort would have failed in any slot.

  • thmannn

Release an Avengers like series on tv. Good day to water down your Avengers big screen movie profits.

  • alexjones

    @jim
Well the trend seems to be that whedon started good and went downhill but now seems to be on the rise again, so shield could last a few years.

  • Ricky

“Don’t touch Lola.” Hilarity as only Whedon can serve it! Cannot wait!

People have the schedule all wrong. Mark my words, it will be like this:

    Sunday:
    8pm- Once Upon a Time
    9pm- Revenge
    10pm- Mixology

    Monday:
8pm- Dancing with the Stars (Mid-season: The Bachelor)
    10pm- Castle

    Tuesday:
8pm- Dancing with the Stars (Mid-season: Mind Games)
    9pm- Agents of SHIELD
    10pm- Resurrection

    Wednesday:

9pm- Modern Family / Super Fun Night

    Thursday:
8pm- Once Upon a Time in Wonderland
    9pm- Grey’s Anatomy

    Friday:
8pm- Last Man Standing / The Neighbors
    9pm- Primetime (Mid-Season: Shark Tank)
    10pm- 20/20

OTHERS: “Trophy Wife” and “Back in the Game” will replace which ever comedies bomb first, while “Lucky 7″ and “Killer Women” will replace which ever dramas flop. If nothing outright flops, they’ll be used as spackle.

The trailer for this is fantastic. The fact that it features Hulk and Iron Man – at least in the trailers – helps a lot. This has AVENGERS written all over it. It might premiere in the 4s.

  • Observer

I’m looking forward to this, but not sure I’m all that enthused by the promo.

  • Tony JJ

@SJ lol. Thank you! Someone who remembers him as Richard Campbell! :D

@Feedback mixology won’t be on Sundays at 10 as it is a 30 minute comedy.

This show will premiere huge, coming off of The Avengers movie & Iron Man 3 (probably do a lot of promotion when Iron Man 3 comes out on Blu-ray and DVD). If it is good it could be ABC’s next big drama.

  • Tony JJ

    @zth

I’m thinking 5s or 6s. yes, I’m going there. And I am not some huge comic book nerd who is super excited for this show. But I truly believe if marketed right, (and I’m assuming Iron Man 3 will come out on home media around September, I would include the first 10 minutes of the pilot as a special feature.), this could be a television blockbuster.

  • TV Addict

This show will be epic quality wise, and if treated right, ratings wise. A lot of people want to give it the Thursday night death slot, which could be a very good idea, but is also very risky. I wonder what ABC will do…

  • jason50

Hopefully Joss Whedon has better success this time around on the bigger network. I could see this being BSG popular on Syfy or a top show on TNT/USA that would last a good amount of seasons. Hard to predict the reception on the main 4 broadcast networks. Well maybe people will think of this as more of a crime drama. Promote it like NCIS meets the Avengers.
