    @tvfan2013

I’m sure the next great drama about a dentist or plumber is waiting to be pitched by you to one of the networks.

  • mando

Sean Saves the World is the best.

MJF show is a little bit disappointing but I will give it a try.

Welcome to the Family is TERRIBLE. NBC should order another multi cam sitcom to pair with Sean Saves the World.

  • Jim

Yep, Michael J. Fox made me just as uncomfortable as I thought he would.

  • zth

Wow, Blacklist looks superb. The trailer is terrific and I think it will do much better than Revolution in the post-Voice spot.

Unfortunately for NBC, that’s the only good news. The idea of the clips is terrible and Ironside looks absolutely horrendous, while all the comedies look terrible as well.

    Blacklist A
    Ironside F
    Michael J. Fox Show C-
    Sean Saves the World C
    Welcome to the Family D

Count me in for The Blacklist and Sean Saves the World. Maybe Ironside as well if its any good.

  • CrimTV

I don’t understand what people are talking about, I think that Sean Saves the World and Welcome to the Family look really good. And remember, these are only previews on 1 scene on the episode, these are not promos. They could be better than you think!

  • forg

Sean Hayes is a tried and tested multicam star and on that preview alone, I had some smiles and laughs. Could work if TBBT will not be moved to 9 PM.

Michael J Fox looks awkward and the other sitcom feels like an ABC sitcom.

But this set has mainstream appeal than last year’s batch. Parenthood at 10 PM makes sense for the family shows night (save Parks and Rec)

    Grading the shows:

    The Blacklist: A
    Ironside: C
Michael J. Fox Show: C (Really like Michael, but this one screams mediocrity with the clip. I’ll give the show a legitimate chance though)
Sean Saves the World: B+ (Note that I’m not a fan of anyone on this show, but the girl was endearing)
    Welcome to the Family: B-

@ John, yeah I think he’s the father as well and it looks interesting. DOnt know if Ill watch but we’ll see, I definetly sat thru the trailer and thats saying a lot.

    @DonJ1973

I’m not criticizing the fact that it’s a procedural. It just sounds like a boring and repetitive one. can’t help but role my eyes on the whole cliché-ness of it all. Unlikely hero is thrust into an unexpected position, and now she has to team up with the most unlikely ally to stop crime! Is there ANY doubt that she’s going to save the day at the end of each episode? I have no idea how you make this silly redundant drek interesting at all.

The last interesting procedural I saw was Awake. Great endings, great twists, no clichés. They canceled it in a heartbeat. I have no faith whatsoever in this lame duck of a show.

James Spader is fantastic in that Blacklist trailer

  • bob mack

this clip showed me absoluley nothing about the show. come on guys. i grew up with mjf. i lil respect would be nice. regards

  • jonnyfrag

Blacklist looks fine, kudos@John…yeah of course she’s his daughter. They spoiled a reveal really early. Might catch on.
The comedies, and I understand that they are pilots and just tiny clips but…ugh they look terrible!

  • jonnyfrag

Also, best thing to say to MJF if you ever run into him?
    What’s shaking?

  • Flame

I hope that a full episode of MJF has more jokes than this clip, like, at least one, please?

Hayes looks like his Will & Grace char grew up a little and has a kid now.

  • Fourat

Blcklist and sean saves the world are good

  • Tabitha

Looking forward to Blacklist, seems very interesting.

  • greysfan

The Blacklist looks the best of those. Must say just because a comedy has Michael J Fox doesn’t automatically mean it will be a hit either. Personally i didn’t like the trailer for it. I think NBC might have egg on their face with their all new comedy Thursday.

@ john – “Spader is the girls father – that part is rather obvious”

I thought the very same thing the second she asked “Why me?” Despite my not being a big Spader fan, I will give it a shot. I just don’t let myself get to into anything on NBC. I’ve really wanted to watch “Hannibal” (I had the first 3 recorded, but deleted them), but I’m waiting to see if it gets renewed. This is one of those shows that I may give a chance (read record some eps, mini-marathon and decide), but it’s whether NBC will. It’s high profile enough and if it’s sheltered behind “The Voice” it has a chance at least out of the gate.

Ironside – yawn. Michael J. Fox Show – not enough to leave an impression, but super glad to see him – I may let my 3 eps or I’m out rule slide with this one. Sean Saves The World – that laugh track(?) was obnoxious, but that bear joke – funny. I love Sean Hayes but I’m not sure about him leading the show. Welcome to the Family – meh.

looks like NBC has a lot of tricks lined up their sleeve, and with football +voice , they are poised to get there ! Good move for Chi Fire & Parenthood.

Revolution, will be the first to go, Bad time slot, Too much competition. it is not a self starter
