    @Ralph Hahn

    You mean the Rock Center that happened to beat an expensive scripted drama on CBS?

  • AO

    Cass,

    Obviously you’ve never met Bondoel/Mikey and those who agreed with him in S1 & S2. If all Nikita fans were as reasonable as you appear then there would likely be a lot less needling of the show and it’s supporters. I’m not one who regularly engages in such activity, but you should know that the disagreements over Nikita have been quite heated in the past.

  • John A

    LMAO at Nikita at consistant 0.2. Even i didnt think that loser would drop that low.

  • hi

    @John A

    loser with 3 full season and a farewell. Oh dear…

    Answer me: how show you loved was canceled when Nikita gets an renew in the past 3 years? (any network) ;)

  • Lucas

    I’m just glad Nikita will have this final season. Honestly, it’s an amazing show and it deserves it. I do think it would’ve been better used in another network: shows about spies and intel and action aren’t made for the CW… It would last a lot on CBS or ABC, maybe, because Nikita isn’t just a spy show: it’s an amazing thriller, packed with emotions and really good fighting scenes.

  • Looke

    Oh the predictable John A the only loser here is you lmao :-)

    Touch is already canceled

    I know shows on Friday typically have lower ratings than shows on other days, but I would like to know why this is the case? Can anyone tell me? I’m not American

  • TV Viewer

    @Tianyi Li

    In the USA, most Americans have the weekends, (Saturday and Sunday), off because of religious Bible reasons. Some people like to go places on Friday night and return to their homes by Sunday night in order to go to work/school on Monday morning. Saturday night is considered the worst day of the week for TV programs, with Friday a close second. Most people have gotten home by Sunday night, so that night is considered almost equal to Monday through Thursday night programs.

    @TV Viewer

    Isnt more likely that people are just watching cable instead?

  • Reedmac

    Terrible repeat number for SPN, it does better on TNT in the mornings often hitting 0.3′s and 0.4′s. Dont blame folks though it was a terrible episode.

  • Fed master

    No cable rating for Friday?

  • Other than THAT Mrs. Lincoln how was the play?

    Nikita didnt lose any viewers??? It has hardly any to begin with. LOL! 0.2 and 1 million? Of course its a CW show where even 0.1 shows continue on for some ungodly reason.

  • Stefan

    where are the cable ratings?

  • Joseph A

    Sorry Vegas is gone , but to be honest it was flawed from the start since it focused on the locals dealing with the growth of Casinos rather then the fight for the lucrative Casino market

    The Friday thing has been discussed- but, it and Saturdays, in the past, had high-rated programming (remember The Golden Girls? All in the Family? TGIF? Dallas? etc. etc.). Broadcast TV ratings, in general, are not what they once were, though, thanks to the Internet, cable alternatives, etc. And that, I guess, helped make Friday/Saturday worse the never.

  • CBSviewer

    I already miss CSI: NY !

    WHAT? WHAT?

    PS: I know

  • TV Viewer

    @Reedmac

    Cable airs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is nothing special about cable on Friday or Saturday evening versus the other days of the week.

    The reason why Saturday (first) and Friday (second) have lower ratings than other nights of the week is because people tend to go out on Saturday (all day) and on Friday (evening hours). There are less people watching TV on Saturday and Friday night, especially the 18 – 49 year Demo with money that advertisers love so much and whom the networks want to attract.

    Back in 1975; CBS aired from 8 to 11: All in the Family, M*A*S*H, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Bob Newhart Show, and Carol Burnett. Three of the best hours in the history of television.

    Those days are in the far distant past, and Saturday is where shows go to die and burn off the remainning episodes before they are cancelled. Or where real cheap programs are aired in the hope that someone will watch their very low budget shows.

    Last Friday’s Kitchen Nightmares created a lot of buzz on Yelp. Amy’s Baking Company may be the first restaurant to go out of business because of Kitchen Nightmares. Amy’s Baking Company in Scottsdale, AZ had over 700 reviews on Yelp with an average rating of 1.5 stars after the Kitchen Nightmares episode aired.
