Once Upon A Time was the top broadcast show on GetGlue, and Game of Thrones was the top cable show for the week of May 6-12.  Remember: a show's social media popularity does not correlate to its renewal prospects and/or actual ratings.

Good for OUAT. It always makes me happy to see SPN and TVD on the list.

  • Michael

Scandal continues to kill it on all platforms of success!

  • Hillbilly

I watch (on average) 6 shows on the list. I wish it would count towards renewal of the shows. :)

  • Raul

    Go Once!!

  • JFC

    And this is significant because….?

  • JacobYates

Defiance and Orphan Black still on the chart. GOT destroys the competition, as per the usual.

  • The End

    @JFC

It’s not. It tells you which show has the most tech savvy fanbase if anything for that week.

You won’t be finding many 40/50/60+ year olds who watch other successful shows logging onto Getglue.

Infact you won’t find many 20/30 year olds either. A lot of people don’t care about the service much. It’s a gimmick service that will never come to anything.

  • James

It’s a nice fun gimmick service. Use it 95% of the time I watch something.

  • Joe Smith

by itself it won’t cause change. but, it’s one more piece of the puzzle. eventually networks will see the picture and realize they have to move away from the current model.

I didnt knw scandal & revenge was a high competitor on this platform.. its on 4th & 7th from all scripted broadcast shows.. Happy for both and they are coming back…

“It’s a gimmick service that will never come to anything.”

Didn’t they say that about Twitter when it first came out? ;-)

I agree though. As far as TV show ratings and success, this doesn’t really mean anything.
