It was a great season, one of the best recently.

Finally, a winner who deserved to win.

Worst winner ever! Worst reunion ever! No wonder the finale was low rated.

Even after 26 variations, it was a remarkable Survivor season – our family watched together every week. One asset for reality/competition is that a stimulating cast can breath life into even a veteran franchise.

Um Parvati, the season (#26 i might add) had good ratings and Survivor had good/great numbers for a Sunday finale. You have zero idea what your talking about. Tell me how many shows have 26 seasons or 13 years and can put butt’s in the seats at that point?

    The Simpsons :) you’re welcome ;)

It really shows how far Survivor has fallen when a player like Cochran wins. Not to mention, Dawn, and Sherri sitting next to him in the finale.

There’s always useless players who make the final tribal council. That’s why you take them there, cuz they’re useless, and can’t win.

How was Season 7 different when it was Sandra and Lill? Sandra did less than Cochran. Or even Season 6 with Jenna and Matt. Jenna was even worse. Season 4 with Vecepia and Neleh? Hell, even Season 2 with Tina beating Colby is an example. Depends on your definition of deserving. Even all the examples I mentioned, Cochran included, I think were deserving. With the exception of Jenna. I think Matt deserved that.

So I’m not sure why you’re thinking this season was any different to others. Or that it’s fallen. It’s been happening since as far back as 2001. Many seasons have been like this. Always have been, and always will. I sure hope you’re not thinking Eddie was deserving. He might have been the most useless out there. Following Reynold the whole game, then getting whooped by Cochran and Dawn in the final 2 challenges. Even without the advantage, Cochran still had him destroyed.

All that said, it was still a really good season, and far better than many others. In my opinion anyway.
