Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Time for ABC to do a Revenge spinoff?

  • Morris

Wow. All those ratings suck. It is like getting a 2.0 is an achievement now.

  • DW

wow on CA thats bad. so is TCS.

  • israelCD

OMFG Revenge !!! Awful Ratings !!!

  • eridapo

Hey ABC… There is still time to change your mind about Revenge. Those numbers are dreadful.

  • BlueAndGreenHair (former BigFlop)

SRN (former ABC) destroy Revenge and OUAT.
    who’s next?

  • John

Revenge finale was not good. What a bunch of liars.

  • BigBrotherFan

    Please NOOOOOOOOOOOO Revenge spoilers!

I watched the SURVIVOR finale last night

and if my teeth looked like that DAWN I quit the game too! YIKES

  • greysfan

How can THAT finale of Revenge only score a 1.6. What is wrong with the American viewing public. I really hope season 3 returns bigger. Will be interested to see where ABC slot Revenge next season.

  • iMember

Ugh, so angry right now. Revenge deserved to crack 2.0 and to be honest, it deserves to be higher than Once. Last night’s finale was just sooooooo good! I seriously hope it adjusts up and I hope that Season 3 has big premiere numbers like Season 2 did.

Also, I think ABC should move it back to Wed. @ 10. Sunday night is just horrible with ABC’s terrible scheduling.

  • Loor_5

Revenge! :(( Revenge must be on Thursdays at 10:00 PM or Wednesday.

  • Dan T

You’re a writer for a professional industry website. You continuously make grammatical errors in your ratings news pieces. There is no apostrophe in plural words like dogs or burgers and there should be no apostrophe in Burgers of Bob’s Burgers.

  • Brett

Hope the Revenge finale was as great as you say. I’m going to watch it on-demand. I use to love the show and then just got bored with it. Seem nobody is talking about it now. It’s become a show you’re embarrassed to say you even watch!

  • Liam

Ouch at ONCE and Revenge. Not great numbers. I do think season 3 could be the last for both shows, if the ratings are going t continue to drop next season.

But one thing I can say for ONCE is that the total viewership and the 18-49 demo has been stable since February averaging the 7 mill mark and in the 2.1-2.3 range since then. And Revenge has been stable-ish. Fluctuating a bit since January from 1.5-2.0 and the 5-6 mill mark. ABC will have a tough decision wether to move the two of them or keep them where they are.

  • JacobYates

Family Guy was up 2 tenths not 1.

  • were123

My fan bingo excuse is mother’s day!
That’s it. I really hope Revenge gets moved to a better timeslot where it can live. As it reached S3, S4 is a certainty, but damn it! I don’t want it to be the next Fringe! I want it to end with 6 seasons and good ratings!

  • Mr Mumble

Was Revenge renewed for a full season? Could it go to Fridays?

  • SJ

    WHAT?!? Revenge DOWN?!?

Well congratulations ABC, you’ve successfully killed one of your most successful shows from last season!

What a bunch of idiots! When the hell is Paul Lee getting fired???

  • omabin

Revenge deserved way way better, it was mind blowing good! OUAT, while not nearly on par with last year’s finale, did set up for a very good and different season 3.

  • John A

Terrible for Revenge to drop 2 tenths for your finale no matter what way you spin it
