Betrayal & Resurrection for me. Had so much hope in SHIELD but it looks BORING.

  • Tony JJ

Betrayal: Looks good. WIll watch at least the pilot. Better than I expected, hope it’s good. C

Trophy Wife: Really Good. Will watch this for sure. Looks funny, and I love the girl from Bad Teacher and the Office. B

Mixology: Could be really funny. Didn’t know what to expect, but could be a fun short season comedy, but it would probably be better suited for cable. C+

    Killer Woman: Looks Bad. D

Resurrection: I hope it’s as good as it looks. A-

Mind Games: Not amused at all. This will flop. Very off brand. F

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D: Looks great. Hope they can keep it up though after the pilot. A

    Betrayal: C+
I am interested in the ratings since it will air after OUAT and Revenge.

    Trophy Wife: B-
    Maybe just maybe.

    Mixology: D
Could barely get through the trailer.

    Killer Women: D
Will not watch, but I can see it becoming the much needed ABC procedural.

    Mind Games: A
Liked the trailer a lot. I will definitely watch.

    Resurrection: A+
This is my sort of thing. Mystery! Looks really good!

    Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D.: B
I was looking forward to this the most, but somehow the trailer didn’t do it for me. I will definitely watch though.

Best new show title for any network: Killer Women–”everyone’s packin’ heat and the women are makin’ lots of it!”–that’s my promo for ABC, thank you very much. Betrayal has a big “Good Wife” vibe to it (not a bad thing at all) except the story sounds more “Good Husband”. Both shows about infidelity in Chicago but the husband and his wife’s lover are the lawyers.

    @Jenny @landon @Seth @Michael @zth @JJF @Bran @RonDigi @MikeInLA

Oh Come on, that trailer had movie quality it was so good.

@RonDigi, “characters and actors look boring.”

You’re seriously going to tell me that Ming Na Wen, J August Richards, Clark Gregg and Chloe Bennet look boring?

Ming Na Wen spent years on ER, was great in the Joy Luck Club and Eureka. And Chloe Bennett looks to be as good an actress as Summer Glau is. Joss Whedon doesn’t have bad actors.

“The film grade looks too bright.”

That’s true with all Marvel productions and they’re pretty successful.

The only ones i didn’t like are Killer Woman and Mind Games. Resurrection is a 50/50 not sure if should give it a try.
About Mixology, did i get it right? Just one night at the bar will cover the whole season?!

  • Dev

Why does everyone hate Mind Games looked awesome to me

  • Penny

Killer Women: God it looks bad.
Mixology: Reminded me of the pilot of Happy Endings. Won’t be watching though.
Betrayal: REALLY ABC who created a show around something a soap opera would use?
Trophy wife: I’ll give it one watch.
    Resurrection: Nah, not for me.
Mind Games: Looks promising but with Slater in it I’m not hoping for much.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. : I know nothing about it, but I’ll check it out.

    YAWN

And the networks wonder why cable shows perform so well

  • Matt

The Betrayal trailer was awful and only the last 30 seconds made me interested. Then I found out the series is based on a Dutch series called Overspel so I went and looked it up on youtube. HOLY MOLY. The Overspel trailer blows Betrayal out of the water. I can only hope Betrayal is at least half as good as Overspel (including a fabulous opening sequence set to Smokey Robinson’s Tracks of My Tears) looks.

  • POIFanatic

ABC constantly has the most interesting shows every season. This time also, its no different. They have some very good pilots.

    Agents of SHIELD: A+
The full trailer convinced me. That chick was hilarious which was quite surprising.

    Wonderland: A
    Quite unexpected. I love Alice.

    Resurrection: B+
It looks amazing! If its anything like Touch though, I’ll give up soon.

    Mind Games: B
Cooky plot, but I trust Kyle to come up with an intelligent storyline.

    Betrayal: B-
It could be good, but I wouldn’t watch it unless it makes it to season 2 which is highly doubtful.

    Lucky Seven: C+
Could be good, could be bad. Trailer wasn’t convincing.

    Killer Women: C
Pass. Reminds me of NBC’s Chase.

    Back in the Game: B
I had no interest in it before, but now I’ve an open mind. Maggie Lawson’s hotness is very distracting though.

    Mixology: C
Shallow, stupid characters who look like the idiots from The Hangover. No thanks.

    Super Fun Night: C
Not the kind of comedy I like. But the trailer did make me chuckle.

    The Goldbergs: B+
I used to love The Wonder Years. If this is half as good as that, then count me in. Trailer was cheesy. Cheesy, but hilarious.

    Trophy Wife: B
Malin Ackerman! Sign me up. Looks good.

Shield – was going to check this out even before the trailer. Trailer did it’s job and gave an idea of what the TV Show is going to be based around and also seems to be post the Avengers 1 New York setting so that was something I was wondering about. I liked it and hope the pilot and then the series holds up. I think it will do what ABC expects and will hold it’s own against NCIS after most likely betting it in the first 4-6 episodes before settling down. Expectations are fairly high – even I expect this to get a 2nd season unless it really really crashes and burns.

Mixology – That was a really good trailer, enjoyed it and I think it could work. Not sure if I would go out of my way to watch it but each of the characters seemed interesting for the short amount of time on screen . If the writing holds up in both dialogue and story line it could maybe be in the race to get a 2nd season. May just be too enthusiastic on this one.

Resurrection – good trailer, story is not interesting to me but could find an audience and has Foreman from House.

Betrayal – um that was like a Ashley Jude ? movie or something trailer (seemed very familiar). So not interesting to me so can’t even guess how it will rate.

Trophy Wife – well at least I watched the whole thing so that’s in its favour. Won’t be checking out the pilot but suppose it could work will have to see.

Mind Games – got 2/3rds of the way through the trailer, seemed a bit like Leverage to me and the 2 main characters came across as really annoying to me. Could find an audience and get a full season, but not a certainty.

Killer Women – Hello Six. Trailer was fairly meh to me and came across fairly generic. Not sure if it will work for ABC. Not sure if Tricia Helfer (?) can anchor a tv show. Think it might complete the front end of the season but not get picked up for the back half. Ah Buffy’s old boyfriend is the new love interest (the face looked so familiar) but not enough to make me watch it.

  • Jon

Outside of Shield, I see many of these shows geting pulled early on in their run. Easily the weakest set of pilots on network tv

  • BigBrotherFan

    mixology LOOKS GOOD!

Betrayal is red widow 2=Will be canceled after 6 episodes

Where the heck is the trailer for Lucky 7? I’m really excited about that series!

AGENTS OF SHEILD looks amazing and will be a massive hit!

  • JJ

Mixology seems like a total romcom movie. Don’t know if it’ll last a season. With that said, I will give it a shot.

  • Brenda

Out of all the trailers I can see myself checking out BETRAYAL, RESURRECTION and maybe Lucky 7. I don’t see myself sticking around for the latter but who knows. I don’t think the trailer for the hyped Shield was all that but I might tune in just to see what the hype is about. It would help to finally watch the Avengers movie, hmm that’s not a good sign.

KILLER WOMEN looks generic, and I swear I just saw something similar in CHASE with Kelli Giddish and I ended up loving that show. So if it lasts maybe Ill tune in to watch it on demand or something like I do a lot of CBS procedurals like NCIS and CSI.

  • networkman

Killer Women:F This looks horrible. How in the world did this get picked up? At first I thought this would be similar to Kill Bill but the trailer makes it look like a unrealistic cop show.

Betrayal:C It could go either way. The trailer was boring and none of the leads were appealing but it deals with corruption and a wife caught in the middle. So that may be enough of a draw for the viewers that ABC primarily targets. I just don’t see it as a better option over 666 Park Ave, which should of gotten another name.

Trophy Wife: C+ There were some funny moments shown in the clip. It feels like a show that should be airing after Modern Family.

Mixology:D This show feels like it should be on FOX. With the recent flops of Don’t Trust the B… and Happy Endings, I don’t know why ABC is trying another ensemble adult comedy which deals specifically with the dating scene.
