CBS Wins Among Adults 18-49 And With Total Viewers in Week 33 Ending May 12, 2013

In week 33 of the broadcast television season ending Sunday, May 12, 2013, CBS took for first place among adults 18-49 with a 2.0 rating average.  ABC came in second with a 1.9. NBC was  third with a 1.8 among adults 18-49.  FOX took for fourth with a 1.7.  The CW finished fifth with a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating average.

CBS won the week with total viewers, with 9.349 million viewers, ahead of second place ABC with 7.191 million viewers. NBC was third with 5.731 million. FOX was fourth with 5.396 million followed by  the CW with 1.290 million.

Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.265 million adults 18-49.

    Although the networks (except for CW) were all within 0.1 of each other.

    It took that plus five hours of The Voice for NBC to finally beat FOX! (First time since the first week of January.)

    So even with a week loaded with The Voice, 3rd place NBC loses to 2nd place ABC .
    Not used to seeing FOX in 4th.

    A low rated hour affects FOX more severely than ABC, CBS and NBC because of less hours of programing.
    But a high rated hour is more favorable to FOX.
