If Once gets a “split season” and Wonderland covers that “bridge”,

will REVENGE get the same (Pretty Little Liars) split-season treatment?

I don’t know what could help REVENGE at this point other than ‘buzz’, and it seems to be generating a lot of that for the finale, similar to the early episodes, and even later episodes, of season one.

    where is abc schedule

  • David

    Tick tock ABC….

  • David

    @Petar Ivanov

    I know right!

Good for OUAT and Revenge! While I hoped to see Revenge back on 2s, at least it managed to stay relatively where it has been since a few months back.
I expect OUAT to be on the high 2s, but oh well… maybe both series will bounce back next season :)

Glad revenge adjusted up, but after such a good season finale, I hoped it would have done better

  • Raven

REVENGE FINALE was amazing! Glad to see it adjusted up, but I hope something happens with the schedule and ABC come fall!

    @ SJ

“Me too… I never understood this habit ABC has of fixing things that aren’t broken.”

You act as if the move killed the show. It’s ratings imploded due to the story line, not the timeslot. If you remember correctly Revenges season premiere numbers weren’t all that bad. Also the show has been renewed, what more do people want? ABC had to replace Desperate Housewives with something!

  • Lukes

still not that exciting the 1.7 for Revenge! Let’s hope that they will shake things down for the 3rd season and get back some viewers that left.

  • Diana

I think that this finale is enough to generate more buzz for revenge hopefully it will have enough ratings next season to continue to a season 4. Im looking forward to the dvr boosts with the positive word of mouth the dvr boosts should be huge.

@SJ: “when are they finally releasing their 2013-2014 schedule? Fox released theirs at 9AM EST yesterday… I’m tired of refreshing the page over and over again.”

IKR! I’m getting so annoyed right now!

  • danny94

Glad to see Revenge adjusted up still a shame it was down from last week I was really hoping the finale would crack a 2.0,
Hope Next season revenge can rebound ratings wise and quality wise

  • Diana

I think that the fact that it was for 2 hours and its first hour was against the survivor finale really hurt it’s numbers. If they did it one hour at a time that I can guarantee (well at least for the second hour) that it could’ve gotten a 2.0

  • Juan

Well at least both revenge and OUAT adjusted up. the season finale of Revenge was outstanding. I really hope it gets it’s old viewers back and comes back much stronger with hopefully better scheduling.

  • SJ

Yes, some of the plot lines were a little far-fetched this season but you can’t convince me that that alone was the reason why Revenge shed almost 50% of its season 2 premiere audience! Same goes for Once Upon a Time – weaker season than S1 but the scheduling also played a major part in it.

As for the “something had to replace DH” theory, they were welcome to premiere a new show or move Castle, which is a more established show and a procedural, there…

  • pmill

At this point, I think ABC’s smartest move would be to stop looking for something for Thursday 8PM and just put Grey’s Anatomy there (10th season already, come on), move up Scandal to 9PM (it deserves it) and give Revenge 10PM. It’s more likely that the Scandal-audience can be persuaded to stay for Revenge, than the family-audience of Once Upon a Time.

Also, I think Nashville would be a better fit with OUAT. It is a glossy family drama after all…

    @ SJ

“As for the “something had to replace DH” theory, they were welcome to premiere a new show or move Castle, which is a more established show and a procedural, there…”

So you think it would have been better for ABC to move a show that can barely crack a 2.0 (when it has DWTS as it’s lead-in) over what was their second hottest freshman drama being paired with their hottest freshman drama? Also considering ABC has struggled with finding a new show that works at 10PM Sundays why would they have tried 2 new shows on the night?

  • #BitterGuyMightPointOut

Cancelled Malibu Country series finale drew about 1 million more viewers than the Revenge season finale and tied it in 18-49. While airing on a Friday. With virtually no promotion.

Separately, the Revenge finale was really great.

  • Tommy M.

ABC schedule is posted on Deadline, SHIELD Tues 8, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, 8PM Thurs.

  • BrieK

I just don’t think Revenge is going to be any better on any other night. I say move it to 10pm and put a new show at 9pm.
