Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

The mother surely made HIMYM ratings bounce back! And that’s great :D
I’m pretty sure 2BG will be adjusted up to 3s, which will be nice seeing. It is slowly crawling its way back to the top.
The Voice always drop on the live shows, so it’s not really worriesome, plus I expect it to go up in the finals.
Revolution will be likely adjusted down, I just hope it matches its low with a 1.8, and not set a new one. While it’s not a show I’d miss, it has been on a good track, and I’d hope it could work out on Wednesday, but these ratings aren’t a very good omen

  • Wright

1.9 for Revolution…Really? How do people not love this show? I have a feeling it will adjust up in the finals.

  • rob60990

Can fans of Hawaii 5-0 say FRIDAY? :D

The Voice falling and taking Revolution with it!

How I Met Your Mother did excellent.

    Good for Castle!

  • Ollie

    90210 :-( I was expecting a high of maybe a 0.5 with 1mil

Such a shame, at least we had a good 5 year run

  • AlanJ

2 broke girls finale did well!

  • Zth

Hmm not very good for Revolution. Will adjust down to 1.7 or 1.8 as The Voice had a one minute overrun.

  • Liam

Nice bump for HIMYM. Hopefully the 9th and final season can attract higher ratings than this season.
CASTLE going out really good. Season 5 was the best season to date. Getting , the two together didn’t hurt the show at all. Roll on season 6 (and 7, hopefully). The ratings this season have been lower than previous seasons but they have been very consistent and stable.
90210 went out very quietly. Very quietly. Down greatly from the 2.6 in demo and the 4.9 million that saw the pilot, 5 seasons ago.
Hawaii 5-O im not worried about, much, the show will be fine next season.

  • Percy

Hopefully Hawaii five-0 adjusts up! I don’t want it on Fridays :(

  • Simon

Revolution – 2.2 – 1.7, hoping for the former! At least it seems stable for now.

  • SJ

Go Castle! Handily beating Hawaii 5-0 and that over-hyped NBC mess! :D

Wow, 90210 didn’t even register. I’ve never seen a show fall from grace that fast.

2 Broke Girls couldn’t even crack a 3.0 for the finale? Really?

  • Dillan

    Half hours for 90210?

  • Billy

The Voice is really starting to lose steam.

The mother reveal really helped HIMYM last night.

  • Greg

Wow, it’s gotten to the point where Castle consistently outperforms DWTS. Jeez.

  • Zth

    @SJ:

Comedies don’t get a very big bump up for finales usually, but 2BG should adjust up to a 3.0.

  • Dillan

Oh just saw the half hours, the final episode for 90210 actually got a 0.2 :(

The new showrunners that joined in S4 really killed the show.

  • Cara

CBS comedies and Hawaii Five-0 were fantastic! Superb entertainment!

  • Once & Again

Probably 2 Broke Girls will go up in the finals with 3.0 and 9 million viewers. Love that show. :)

  • psychic

Castle was great last night. At first I thought it would be a boring season finale, but they pulled out a big cliffhanger at the end.
