    CBS wasting NCIS lead-in on its spinoff for its 5th season is ridiculous.

    The DWTS finale next week will pull a 2.5 at best.

    Why the hell is Family Tools airing tonight? What a bunch of idiots at ABC. A MF rerun would do high 1s at least and boost an original MF which isn’t even facing Idol tonight. It could have gotten a big boost.

    Mindy’s show is fun. The pilot was bad but thankfully the show improved, especially after nurse Morgan was added to the cast. Of all the new comedies this past season, this is the one I’ll probably re-watch on hulu over the summer. Mindy herself might never get acting awards for a while (and – side note – her book takes too long to download on Kindle but I might try again some day soon), but the ensemble was a treat. I probably like this show almost as much as Parks and TBBT. It grew on me, like HTLWYP did (RIP to that one, but I’ll enjoy what’s left, including tonight’s episode).

    I still can’t believe that ABC cancelled Body of Proof. It is a show that is capable of garnering close to 9 million viewers. Why not try it on Friday after Shark Tank?

  • Paulo PT

    Why not air a new episode of HTLWYP at 8:30PM?

    ABC canceled HTLWYP because next season will be others sitcoms with the same plot, but with a differentt aproach.

    @TheFrenchGuy
    Who cares ? NCIS and Grey’s are different Shows, on different nights and slots, with very different competition.

    :roll:

    You do understand that this is a ratings website, right? People compare shows here all of the time. Yes, even shows not airing head-to-head against each other. Shockingly, this is no different than what entertainment media has been doing for decades.

    It’s completely reasonable to speculate which broadcast drama will put up the biggest finale numbers.

  • BrieK

    I felt the same way about Body of Proof until I saw the trailers for their new shows. ABC is looking pretty strong in their new dramas.

  • j

    Grey’s went up .6 for its finale last year, which if done this year would put it at 3.7.

    I think Scandal will be slightly below that.

    @Owl

    Lol the black guy? You’re already on the Internet, you can’t google search his characters name?

    Anyhoo, why do people have to put up their favorite shows by putting other shows down. People prefer New Girl, it’s their choice. Stop trying to force it on us.

    @Paulo PT
    NCIS:LA will keep that spot. Why?

    Because the NCIS shows are cash cows for CBS, while The Mentalist is schedule filler.

    Did you really expect them to shuffle around shows that are working in the current timeslots just to improve the ratings for a six year old show that they don’t even own?

    For those not following the CBS 2013-14 Primetime Schedule thread, Petar Ivanov has just suggested that NBC buy Person of Interest from CBS and air it in the post-Voice slot! :lol:

  • Chris

    I find the Mindy Project painful to watch. It’s not funny and I really doubt the ratings will improve. Fox dealt New Girl a huge dent by moving it. The low 2s appear to be its new normal.

    I totally agree.

    @Bryan

    Interesting that Owl knows the names of all the other characters except “the black guy” hehe.

  • Kangarookeeper

    NBC wins the night with a rerun at 8 pm. Very impressive.

    Why are peoples hating Mindy Project? Because Indian lead

  • Melissa

    This just in from Petar Ivanov: “CBS disrespect POI and POI fans. Its their best hit drama from years. Best testing show from 15 years!(crime drama emerging as the frontrunner at the network on the drama side) We all know that if was CBS drama won’t happen this way.”

    Apparently by premiering Person of Interest in one of their most envied slots, and giving it television’s strongest comedy hour as a lead-in during its sophomore year, CBS was “disrespecting” it.

    Yes.

    Ultima,

    You are an evil, evil person.

    and that’s why we like you so much ;)

    For those lamenting the cancellation of Body of Proof, I had the same reaction to Harry’s Law being cancelled over low demo & high viewership. Sure BOP deserved another season but ABC thinks they can do better with Lucky 7. Truthfully it’ll get it’s head handed to it but what do loyal viewers know ?
