You can see TV ratings from other recent Overnight ratings reports here.

Definitions: Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Looks like Chicago Fire beat CSI in the last half hour as well. That show builds in the half-hours a lot of weeks.

TAKE FAMILY TOOLS OFF THE SCHEDULE!!! Instead, move to Saturdays after Bet On Your Baby and watch Smash fall to 0.0!!! HAHAHAHA

  • Andrew Dias

How did Mariah flopped with #Beautiful at the Billboard since it debuted at #24? When was the last time Nicki debuted that high?

  • S.P.

I love Revolution but I see why NBC is excited about Chicago Fire, another show I love. It tied Revolution in the demo and had more total viewers without The Voice lead in. Revolution will win when DVR numbers are included though. Revolution does have tougher competition though!!!

Great to Nashville up, I wonder if the Nashville season finale will beat Revenge’s

  • bjssp

Also, given Fox is back to producing a highly speculative, jumbled schedule for next season, is there any chance Fox will cut down on TXF or Idol and air something after it? Then again, as Sepinwall and Feinberg said on their podcast, if Idol really collapses next season, Rake is just adrift at sea. That’s why it’s so puzzling Fox didn’t use the show this season to promote something, anything. Was The Goodwin Games really that bad?

  • Ashley

Wednesday is such a weak day for programing. And AI still can’t get over 3.0 with no competition. Pathetic! Cancel the show.

  • DM

I think they cancelled How To Live With Your Parents because it’s following the same path that Happy Endings and Don’t Trust The B did. Both of those shows performed well when they were led in by Modern Family but when taken out of that time slot they both flopped on their own. HTLWYP is getting the same ratings that both of those shows did in that time slot so they probably wanted to avoid the problem before it happens for a third time.

  • Raul

I don’t understand how ABC could cancelle How to live…..

  • Ultima

At what point will NBC call it quits with SVU?

If NBC does decently with their freshman dramas next season (especially Chicago PD), I think that will probably be it for SVU.

Tonight’s idol should be the lowest rated finale in its history. I predict maybe 13 to 14 million which will be way down from the 21 million it got last year and the nearly 30 million it recieved 2 years ago.

What another amazing episode of NASHVILLE yesterday. SO many amazing scenes I really don’t know what to pick from. EVERYONE on this show continues to give a amazing performance episode after episode. The storylines are great and entertaining and I can’t wait for next weeks finale.

I’m really glad they got rid of Dante what a horrible mean spirited scum but I couldn’t help but feel bad for the mom. Honestly, she really spent the entire season being Juliette’s personal punching bad. I really didn’t think she be dead but once Juliette walked in with her assistant I knew she was a goner.

I much prefer a Juliette and Avery paring it makes sense. Scarlett is kind of useless and I think Gunnar is gay more and more each episode that goes by. Scarlett needs an entirely new love interest and Gunnar needs some better plots.

Rayna and Deacon yeah, okay makes sense. I just wish they focus less on the kids who honestly cares about those brats? I don’t. I want more confrontation between Teddy and Rayna and how did that stupid kid find those results? come on!

    End Spoilers

So Happy it’s up I hope it reaches a 2 next week :)

Supernatural needs to adjust up! Last night was amazing I loved it!!!!

    Happy Nashvilles up

“Wednesday is such a weak day for programing. And AI still can’t get over 3.0 with no competition. Pathetic! Cancel the show.”

Yes FOX should cancel their highest rated show.

“Great to Nashville up, I wonder if the Nashville season finale will beat Revenge’s”

It’ll probably beat this year’s but not last year’s.

  • Seth

    Spectacular for American Idol.

  • Michael

    Mariah Carey a “flop” with 18 #1 singles? O.o

Any who, I can’t believe American Idol only scored a 2.9 for the FINALE performance episode. Last year, the show was at a 4.2!!!

  • fringewillget5seasons

HIMYM beat MF for #2 comedy this week.

These numbers are so horrible. One show above a 3. Spring is such a painful time.

  • Ultima

And AI still can’t get over 3.0 with no competition. Pathetic! Cancel the show.

American Idol is still FOX’s most profitable show.

Ratings out of Modern Family don’t count, especially if you retaining a small percentage. Plus, it’s not like The Neighbors will be staying on wed, it’s moving to Friday.
