The TBBT repeat beat the penultimate original of TaaHM. Suspect next season will be TaaHM’s last.

  • MVProductions44

American Idol although still down from last season, did great in the finals with its finale numbers!

  • NBC Fan

The finale 7 minutes of American Idol and the final 15 minutes of The Office?

  • Bookworm

Scandal has officially beaten Grey in viewers! I’m so happy it kept the series high rating and I fully expect it to come back with around that area in the Fall!

Grey is still ABC’s top rated drama and it will remain that way for at least another year or Scandal will top it and maybe become the network drama on the network! Unless the Shield does really good and dethrone them both.

  • Lena

Vampire Diaries is still #1 on the CW! :)

Good for TVD and Hannibal!!! Hannibal may have a low rating, but at least it is consistant.

Well, from 6.4 finale last year to a 3.6 in just one year for American Idol, speaks volumes for the current panel. Should be interesting to see who they hire next season.

Scandal absolutely astonishing numbers, especially for a 10 o’ clock show.

  • halloween

    TVD tied Hannibal

  • Jenn

    The Grey’s premiere had a 4.4 and the finale a 3.1. Quite a fall.

  • SeSiiiin

Elementary will adjust up to 9,000,000

GREAT for the Office and retrospective.
Good for the Big Bang Theory too. It has a tendency to go down for the finales for some reason. Happened lasted year too (as well as season 3). In fact its series low was the season 1 finale.
Dang, I really wished The Office would have been Grey’s Anatomy one last time. It did a couple times in season 6 (the hour long Wedding and Baby episodes)
I wish they would have had an Office series finale poll

Hannibal and The Walking Dead are my favorite shows, I live in Europe.

@MVProductions44 What is wrong with you!

@The TBBT repeat beat the penultimate original of TaaHM. Suspect next season will be TaaHM’s last.

The real qiestion is how low will go TAHM without best lead-out on network tv? It’s so expensive so can’t go lower than 2.5! I really think CBS should premiere 2 weeks before season begin. I mean for thursdays and may be mondays. If 3 of 4 comedies bomp(as i think so) only mike and molly can’t save them. ANd without super bowl and afc championship next season can drop wild.

After 8 years that’s all NBC can gather for a series finale? What a fail.

It was a 16-month high and ~60% of the series high, which is really good for a series finale.

How did that Fringe finale do?

  • zth

That doesn’t say much, a TBBT repeat sometimes beats every comedy on TV, this 3.3 figure for the TBBT repeat even beats a couple original Modern Family episodes. TAAHM will last for two-three more seasons, at the very least.

When folks talk about Hannibal being a joint international production, is that in any way analogous to The Firm on NBC last year.

The Firm was an American-Canadian coproduction and was produced by Entertainment One “primarily for the overseas market. Thanks to pre-sales and Canadian production tax credits, the cost of producing the series was already paid for and NBC was able to pick up the show for a greatly reduced licensing fee, just like any other secondary buyer”

It was broadcast via AXN, “The AXN broadcast broadens the shows markets to over 125 territories and countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America, Central Europe, Germany, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Russia, and Spain”

The Firm was down to a 1.0 demo two weeks prior to being placed on Saturday burn-off. Obviously NBC would not place Hannibal on Sunday burn-off but I have to wonder if the situation is sort of similar.

I honestly don’t know the answer.

  • Petar Ivanov

If i was abc i will move shield on thursday at 9 and greys on tuesday. Shield will kill off everything here.

  • zth

    @Petar Ivanov:

TAAHM’s audience is a self-starter. After 10 seasons it doesn’t need any lead in. Will stay comfortably in the low to mid 3s next season.

The Fringe finale did just fine for being on a Friday.
