Josh, Chuck and Professor Raupp examine cicadas in the heart of their natural habitat in central North Carolina, giving viewers an up close examination of the cicada phenomenon. Beginning at 8 PM ET/PT Science Channel will unveil the network premiere of SWARM CHASERS, a one-hour special about the ultimate bug horde – locusts. Since the dawn of man swarms of this three-brained creature, often numbering in the billions, have frightened humanity by devouring everything in their path. Now, leading scientists are on a mission to find out more about locusts to help end the mighty bug’s destructive behavior.
