(New York, NY) – Fasten your seatbelts and hold on tight!  Discovery Channel is buckling up for a wild ride inside the world of American street racing with STREET OUTLAWS on Monday, June 10th at 10pm ET/PT, following an all-new episode of the hit series FAST N’ LOUD.

From a 1969 Chevy Nova to a race-ready farm truck, the vehicles - and their drivers - come in all shapes and sizes and have one thing in common: the need for speed.  But according to the STREET OUTLAWS of Oklahoma City - home to one of the largest undercover street racing rings in America – if you’re not on “the list,” you don’t matter.  The “list” contains the 10 fastest street-racing cars in Oklahoma City and they are the best of the best. Not only will these guys will do anything -ANYTHING- to get ranked on this list, they’ll do whatever it takes to STAY ranked.

Street racing comes first - before family, before friends and before work.  The stakes are high and these drivers will put everything on the line to get to top, where there can only be one #1.

STREET OUTLAWS is produced for Discovery Channel by Pilgrim Studios; Craig Piligian and Sam Korkis are executive producers. For Discovery, Denise Contis is executive producer.

I really hope this is a late April Fools BS joke. You really think “glorifying” ILLEGAL STREET RACING is a good thing!!!??? I am a drag racer, I spend many hours preparing my car to race, on a sanctioned track. That is a drag racer, Street racers are CRIMINAL ! And you want to do a show on this ? And you wonder why the law says its illegal ? ITS DANGEROUS !!! ITS BS !!! I will email EVERY sponsor you have for this and vent my disgust for this show.

  • Kenny Wigington

I put my name on it, because I stand for this !

  • Mindy Hyer

I can’t wait for June 10th!!!!! Street racing takes skill. Quit whining Kenny cause nobody wants to do a show about you going down a track. I put My name on it cause My Family Street Races!!!!!

been there and done that and still doing it street racing is a way of life I’m talking about real street racing cannot wait to see the show

  • mark warmouth

Mindy, I won’t call you an idiot, instead, I send you my condolences when 1 of your family members Dies from an accident, and maybe not of their own doing. When 1 of your family members KILL an inocent bystander, I hope the full weight of the law comes down on him/her. Street racing are for idiots who have no respect or consideration for those of us who built and race cars with SAFETY being paramount. We race on a track that is sanctioned, we have tech inpectors to make sure we have the proper equipment for wear, and our cars meet specific rules for the class we run. I to will watch this show, to write down every sponsor I see help promote this innapropriate show to our kids. Then I will post these disgusting promoters on every site I know. Discovery channel, no disclaimer will help you on this one. PULL the show!!

  • BigRob

Go to YouTube and search bigrob3232 for a sneak peak at what this show will be about. I’ve been documenting this scene for the last 7 or more years and you can see most of it there.

  • shelly knox

Haters gonna hate! Truth is our guys inspect their cars, spend small fortunes getting them ready, and they do it better than most tracks! Yes it’s illegal, and breaking the law. If you have ever driven faster than the speed limit ….. then you have also broken the law! Quit pointing fingers & whining. Bottom line is show airs June 10th watch it on Discovery and then form an opinion, or watch the Speed Channel for track racing.

  • Tony T.

You want to condemn the street racers of Oklahoma, saying we are not a family or our priorities are out of order. Turn on the news MORON. WE ARE NOTHING BUT FAMILY!! We all go out of our way to help each other out in times of need whether you are a friend or not we are here to help. Don’t ever think the street racers are not family oriented or care about safety.

  • Monte SS

Kenny and mark, y’all are a bunch of no brain idiots. I run my car at the track but my car isn’t legal because I choose not to cage my car, put chutes on it, etc…. I keep my car looking stock and runs sickly fast! But the tech at tracks don’t allow me to race, so I street race. Yes I know the risks but guess what, I use what we call thinking and choose my places to run and not in busy areas! If people were allowed to think for themselves maybe we wouldn’t have so many idiots in the world like you two. But guess what, I don’t care what y’all cry about, I’ll street race till the day I die and ain’t a damn thing y’all can do! Hahaha so go enjoy your slow ass track cars while I got a street car I can drive daily that outruns your junk any day of the week! Lmmfao!!!!!!!!’

  • Outonyou

Sponsor’s???? There isn’t any, that should make it easier for you to NOT watch the show.

  • Ron Shores

To Kenny Wigington and Mark Warmouth: may I ask what type of car you race and how fast is it? Bracket race much? Or maybe Junior Dragster? So happy you are living the NHRA dream. Please, when the show airs be sure to tune in some other show and just ignore theirs. I’m sure watching one of the scripted “reality shows” on other channels would entertain you more. The “repo” or “lizard towing” show may be more to your liking as people like you believe they are real.

  • 3rdGen

Love the haterism is awesome we got fans already

  • Brad Williams

Can’t wait! If you don’t like it, don’t watch it. I love people who think griping all over the web while sitting on their ass. Is anything but annoying. Race on!

  • shelly knox

Well I guess Discovery could join the band wagon and do ANOTHER towing/repo show, or ANOTHER played out scripted to the hilt pawn show! People don’t wanna see that stuff. It’s stupid!

  • show sucks

Stupid show some innocent person is gonna die discovery should be held responsible.

  • john wood

Why so much anger? Street racing IS dangerous and dozens of people die every year, many of them bystanders. Like it or not many of the str4eet racers are very good people they take care of their families. What the problem is that the physical rush when you street race is soooooo addictive. When they come together as a group their addiction feeds on each other. This is just the way it is and the only solution is to run on sanction tracks, but this will never happened because the rush comes from being an outlaw racer

  • Mindy Hyer

Love the show!!! Good job Discovery Channel.

  • phil

What happened to Flip? It said at the end of the show he died tragically. Just wondering did he die racing?

  • Chad”Sooners” Ral.

Just watched the show. I grew up on 81 speedway in Wichita. Yes its dangerous, what racing isn’t. By standers get hurt and even killed in legal racing, so what’s the difference. At least they are smart enough not to do it where civilians are. Pull your heads out of our @ss’s haters and go play some chess, leave the edge for the country boys and girls!

  • Chad”Sooners” Ral.

BTW, just watched it and I thought it was a good show. Didn’t make me wanna go spend $$$$ and race, even though I want to lol. Common sense. I saw that Flip passed to, RIP FLIP and I send my respects to his friends And family and to Street outlaws.
