    You are PROOF Jeff…enough said!!

  • Chriscee

Stay mad Jeffie…you’re unraveling…and it’s quite comical to watch.

  • Jeff

Oh yes, I am definitely laughing!!

  • BevAG

CNN does pull in the numbers when there’s a disaster. If I were the head of that organization, I’d be looking at that and trying to figure out how to build on that. It’s obvious they don’t get the numbers when they’re using a political theme, but at least they’re numbers are better than that limp-along WHNBC. I can see how they can build on coming out from politics into different type of news organization.

$500K in Stimulus Money Wasted in Richmond
Company vanished, left mound of trash behind

    May 20, 2013 4:47 pm
A Richmond company which received $500,000 in federal stimulus money to build a recycling plant that would employ at least 50 people has built nothing and created no jobs, NBC 12 reports.

Cephas Industries received the grant as part of the U.S. Recovery and Reinvestment Act, and it was overseen by the Virginia Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy. When ground was broken in April 2010, Mayor Dwight Jones, Rep. Bobby Scott (D., Va.), and City Council members Reva Trammell and Kathy Graziano posed with hard hats and gold shovels.

But nothing came of the investment of taxpayer dollars to build a multi-million dollar biomass manufacturing and recycling center meant to convert demolition and construction waste to fuel, even though the DMME insists Cephas was vetted properly.

During a February visit, reporters discovered the “company was gone” and a new one moving in was forced to clean up a mess of garbage Cephas left behind:

We tracked the money: The $500,000 started with the federal government; it gave the money to the Virginia Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy; that agency awarded the grant to Cephas Industries.

We uncovered a progress report from last June, where Cephas says it spent $230,000 on a John Deer Excavator and Mack Tractor. Cephas reported to the government that the facility was never built because “the city reneged on a $6 million bond finance deal.”

In a statement, the mayor’s press secretary says that’s not true. Tammy Hawley says the city recommended the company for more stimulus money, but she says it was up to the business to get the financing using recovery act bonds as leverage. In an email, Hawley wrote: “it appears that Cephas was not able to establish his plan as financiable.”

The DMME stated Cephas ended up leasing a building on Deepwater Terminal Road. Reporters visited that location last winter and never found the company’s owner, Morris Cephas, although they did find papered-over windows and overgrown grass.

Scott and City Hall officials declined comment on what happened to the facility and the promised jobs.

PWAK Jeff – @Bf-Hillybilly. 51 Technically sure, heard of the filibuster? Look it up!

    ————————————–

I already smacked you down on this once. Glad Mikey O is educating you. Mikey O, trust me you are wasting your time.

The Democrats have checked out on MSNBC. I know there’s a lot of Democrats who do not believe in the evil doings that the Obama Administration has done. They’re really crushed. They really thought that Obama was going to be the change they were looking for, and all he turns out to be is more evil than what they perceive the Republican party to be.

I’ve been talking to the Democrats in my extended family, whom we usually have incredibly loud conversations about because we’re on the opposite side. Now we’re just discussing. They’re crushed.

I don’t do the, “I told you so,” because I never like that in any scenario.

But my Democrat relatives are crushed. They’re union people and they believe in the American way and the American worker being treated fairly, and I totally agree with that. BUT none of them believe in leaving any of our people to die and not even attempting to help them if we can. None of them believe in using the IRS to “get back at people.”

  • Hillbilly

    PWAK Jeff –
Fact: Senate already passed health care bill with 60 votes. On December 23, the Senate passed a cloture motion on H.R. 3590, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, with 60 votes. On December 24, the Senate passed the bill with 60 votes.
You are falling to BF Hillybilly level of ignorance, it’s not too late!!

    ———————————–

I smacked that down too. Remember the deal Pelosi cut with Nobama & Reid? You are to chicken to bet so not going to waste my time doing it again.

    @be

Americans are tired of msnBS constant bashing and attacking conservatives. They are also tired of blaming Bush and msnBS constant rah rahs for Obama’s endless failures and the lies that go with them

  • Jeff

BF-Hillybilly, is that all you got? You smacked….? Lol! No doubt! Mikey O conceded he was wrong by going mum on the subject. You can’t understand procedure. You can’t ever admit you are wrong. You are entitled you your own opinions but not your own facts. This is nothing new. BF hillybill Eric Errich or whatever….

  • BevAG

    @Chriscee

    Thank you. :)

Chriscee, thank you so much for everything you post. I learn a lot from your posts. Please continue doing so, if it fits into your life.

I love reading interesting posts and posts where people say things that I can learn something from, so thank you for your efforts.

“The idea that this Tea Party targeting by the IRS is something somebody just discovered and only recently learned about is silly. This was known years ago. In fact, the IRS commissioner Lois Lerner has admitted that all this was going on as far back as 2011. The New York Times praised the practice.” -Rush

  • Sicilian Papa

The headlines tonight on the Nightly News should be Lerner take the 5th! We will see and I’ll be watching.

You know the drill if they don’t mention it, corrupt, blank, blank, so-blank media.

MSNBC got a few more people to watch. They will stay on life support for a few more days. Then it will be time to pull the plug!

  • lbsles

“This no longer is a government of, by, and for the people. This is a government governing against the will of the people. We pay the government to protect the liberties that we are guaranteed by the Constitution. They are working to undermine them.” -Rush

  • lbsles

“Liberals need the IRS and the tax code, so they need to save the IRS. In addition to that, don’t forget that the IRS is now the collection agency for Obamacare, which they’re entirely invested in.” -Rush

  • lbsles

“I don’t deal with Obama as just the latest Democrat who we oppose because we’re Republicans and he’s a Democrat. I recognize Obama as the Alinskyite that he is, the community organizer that he is, and the guy who really doesn’t like this country as founded. Republicans don’t talk about him that way, but I do.” -Rush

  • lbsles

“Every Obama appointee and every Obama career person in these positions is from the same mold as Obama. They are there to wage war against their enemies — and I’m not talking about Al-Qaeda, and I’m not talking about Saddam Hussein. I’m not talking about Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. I’m talking about you and me. We are having a war waged against us. That is what is coming to the surface now.” -Rush

  • Jeff

No Hillybilly the process was posted by me. You disagreed without any thing other than with your usual
WELL DUH GO TO THIS SITE AND READ IT…..DUUUH! That works for you at home and for those who will entertain your nonsense. I just simply dismiss you.

  • BevAG

Sarah Hall Ingram needs to be fired as well. She got $103,000 in bonuses while she was heading the tax-exempt part of the IRS targeting Conservative, Jewish and Christian organizations.

Sarah Hall Ingram has just now been promoted to take over Obamacare for the IRS.

  • Raz

Jeff, or should I say USA8888, the way a person writes is as distinctive as a finger print.

I am old enough to remember what happened with Nixon, and it pretty much started out the same way as the whole mess the current administration is in. Will be so interested to see if it plays out the same way.
