On Four of Seven Nights This Week, Univision Ranked #3 or Higher Among Adults 18-34

 

On Sunday, Nuestra Belleza Latina Finale Delivers 3.7 Million Total Viewers 2+

 

Finale Helps Univision Rank #3 Sun 8-10P Among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, Beating CBS and NBC

 

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights Week of May 13 to May 19, 2013

  • Season to date, Univision is up +2% among Total Viewers 2+ over the prior year.   Among the E-L broadcast networks, only CBS has shown growth (+1%) while the others have declined (ABC -6%, FOX -20%, NBC -6%).   Among Adults 18-49, only Univision has maintained its viewership from the prior year, while the E-L broadcast networks have declined (ABC -9%,       CBS -4%, FOX -22%, NBC -6%).

 

  • For the entire week (M-SU), Univision ranked #3 or higher on four of seven nights among Adults 18-34. 

 

  • On Monday night, Univision ranked as the #4 network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for Adults 18-34; top 15 for Adults 18-49.

 

  • On Tuesday night, Univision ranked as the #4 network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for Adults 18-34; top 15 for Adults 18-49.

 

  • On Wednesday night, Univision ranked as the #3 network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering CBS and NBC. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

 

  • On Thursday night, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for Adults 18-34; top 15 for Adults 18-49.

 

  • On Friday, Univision ranked as the #1 network among Adults 18-34 and #2 for Adults 18-49, out-delivering CBS, FOX, and NBC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for both demographics.

 

  • Airing “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday), Univision ranked #2 among Adults 18-49 and #3 among Adults 18-3, out-delivering ABC, CBS, and  NBC in each demographic.  “Sabado Gigante” experienced growth over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (2.1 Million, +6%) and Adults 18-49 (849,000, +9%).  Also, it ranked among the top 10 programs of the evening for Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

 

  • On Sunday night, Univision ranked #3 among Adults 18-34 and #4 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering NBC in each demographic.  Also, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 20 programs for Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

 

ü  At 7 p.m., Univision aired “Aqui y Ahora” (Here and Now), which averaged 1.7 Million Total Viewers 2+, 757,000 Adults 18-49, and 288,000 Adults 18-34.

 

ü  Airing the season finale of “Nuestra Belleza Latina” (Our Latin Beauty) from 8 p.m. to 10:03 p.m., Univision ranked #3 in the time period among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering CBS and NBC in both demographics.  The finale averaged 3.7 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.7 Million Adults 18-49, and 748,000 Adults 18-34. 

 

ü  Following “NBL” at 10 p.m., “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (2.8 Million, +30%), Adults 18-49 (1.3 Million, +32%), and Adults 18-34 (605,000, +37%).

 

 

  • At 8 p.m., Univision’s novela “Porque El Amor Manda” (Because Love Rules) helped Univision rank as the #4 network for the hour (M-F) among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  The novela averaged 3.5 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.8 Million Adults 18-49, and 883,000 Adults 18-34.

 

  • Univision’s 9 p.m. novela “Amores Verdaderos” (True Love) helped Univision rank as the #4 network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34.  “Amores Verdaderos” averaged 4.7 Million Total Viewers 2+, 2.5 Million Adults 18-49, and 1.1 Million Adults 18-34.

 

  • Univision’s 10 p.m. novela “Que Bonito Amor” (Beautiful Love) helped Univision rank as the #4 network for the hour (M-F) among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.   The novela averaged 3.3 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.7 Million Adults 18-49, and 747,000 Adults 18-34.
