  • In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 Wednesday results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.7/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/4.
  • From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET Wednesday night, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/5 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Good for H50! Too bad CBS doesn’t have anymore faith in it by throwing it away on Fridays. If H50 could’ve maintained the same caliber of writing as season one it would’ve done a lot better. The writers let this show down big time!
Sad and true KarenM. The shows needs major overhaul – new runner and creative team of writers, otherwise season four will be its last. I feel sorry for the wonderful cast, they deserve much better than season 3 choppy and lazy writing.

  • James

Thanks God Christina is returning to the voice next season to save NBC!

  • BigBrotherFan

    I hope ABC drops Motive.
Give it to CBS this is more their game or even NBC but this is not in tune with ABC programing for young, hip and attractive viewers (minus DWTS and BOP). Fine keep CASTLE but other than that DROP this style of show. agh!
ABC always has the best shows with the best looking stars this middle aged hag solving crimes looks beyond boring I get my fill of good looking middle age women solving crime from SVU THANKS!

    @ thefrenchguy

“I agree but why CBS tried The Mentalist on Friday last year during the Show fourth season ?”

The same reason they’re mvoing “H5O.” But that wasn’t a “test” either. I believe that was more of a “shuffle” do to cancellations and what not and based on how many seasons the show has under it’s belt and it’s syndication deal etc. they settled on Sunday nights. “H5O” may even get moved from Friday once the season starts next fall. CBS will do what it has to to keep it on the air for at least one more season because the magical episode number for syndication is 88. I can’t remember if “H5O” has a 22 or 24 episode season but either way they’re either at 66 or 72 respectively so they need just one more season to reach 88.

Motive broad was good in “Tilt” though

  • Castle Fan

HA ! Castle finale got a 2.1 demo and 11.16 million viewers last week with a weaker lead in, only a 2 demo from DWTS .
    Take that H50 !!!
So glad CBS is dumping H50 on Fridays, those old woman, Alex O’loughlin fans, that come here saying H50 is the best thing in the world, are so obnoxious and rude. Now they can go make trouble on Fridays. Sorry for the Grimm fandom. But as a Castle fan I could not be happier !

  • Psac

Watched the Goodwin Games, and I think Fox made the right move by burying it. No, the right move would have been never approving past the Pilot stage. It was definitely amusing in parts, but got old FAST. We couldn’t see how the premise could be maintained for a lengthy series. If it was positioned as a one-season mini-series or something, possibly. I saw one review that said it could have worked as a light TV-movie, I agree with that as well. Otherwise, no way.

  • Leah

So darn happy H50 moving to Monday night. Castle fans can now hate on another show.

  • Leah

Dear Castle Fan: Thank you for confirming that A Castle fan is just NASTY, now I know why I switched from Castle to H50, and guess what I am not an old lady, thank you very much.

  • Grey

@ PurpleDrazi (Love your handle btw. :D I’m a “lurker” from way back.)

CBS should have ordered an extra episode for Hawaii Five-0 and try it on Friday before moving it there.

What would be the point? CBS moved H50 to Friday because its rating are sliping. They are going to move it to Friday regardless so doing a test run would’t change anything.”

Exactly. Like I said, rearranging deck chairs on the titanic. It doesn’t change the outcome.

    @ Grey

Hawaii Five-0 currently has 71 episodes under its belt.

  • rgxx

Darn! REVOLUTION is better than a 1.9 – come on nielson viewers – Tune IN!!!

  • Bob

The Goodwin Games I watched online last week and was bored to tears. The show abosolutely sucks bad! I don’t blame Fox for giving it an off Season run. A .07 is more than it deserves.

  • Mon

    @Castle Fan

Isn’t Castle’s core audience also on the old woman demographic?

  • charlotte mustain

great for Hawaii five-0 the show was really great last night. it was action packed keep you guessing until the end. i think grace park will be back for season 4. also got to say great job on makeup for Mark D. if hadn’t watched the show he really looked him had be burned. good job markeup dept.

  • rgxx

REVOLUTION not up against anything big next year – I think only the time slot itself will hurt it. It can get too violent for little ones and 7pm in central time is TOOOO early.

  • rgxx

although sci-fi fans for REVOLUTION AND ARROW could split on the two shows – now I have to watch one while I tape the other….crap!

  • Castle Fan

Oh Leah, I know it stinks to lose each week and be dumped on Fridays.
But I am glad you are happy H50 is moving. We agree on something. I am VERY happy !

  • Robbie Bishop

@ateofi; I’ve actually found season 3 of “Hawaii Five-0″ to be a lot better written than both seasons 1 and 2.
1 started out great, but took a nosedive halfway through its season. And season 2 was just a mess.
This is the only season of “Five-0″ so far to have actually kept my interest.

  • HalCapone

I only wish there were a separate site for the adolescent boys to use “flop” more frequently than the breakouts on their faces.
