    SYTYCD shows its still got it after 10 seasons.

    Grimm for NBC is like what Shark Tank is for ABC. They tried them in higher profile slots and they just work on Friday for some reason. Kind of fare people watch on Friday nights. Thats why I think Hawaii 50 might be a good Friday energy show. Fridays night are nowhere dead when I am seeing shows being moved to bigger slots.

    The Voice did solid numbers for a results show. It was competing against the finale of DWTS. Honestly if it keeps these numbers in June with no compeition and lowing viewing levels thats great. The Voice has overall done well for a Spring season.

    This was the lowest rated finale in DWTS history it was still solid viewership for the ending and great winner in Kellie Pickler. I am hearing bigger changes next season for DWTS then just losing results. New judges replacing Carrie Ann and Len and a new co host for Tom Bergeron.

    Anyone is who LOL’s when any show is flopping obviously needs a life.

    More a case of some people having nothing of value to add to a discussion but add something anyway to make their presence known.

    Grimm is surely safe for many years to come. Its a successful friday shows and the tuesday move was retarded from the beginning.

  • MichaelChickless

    Oh, maybe I can post.

    Was last night anywhere close to a record for singing and dancing shows all on broadcast the same night?

    It’s time to bring back Xtina to “The Voice.” She is the most relevant coach, and Ironically the only coach to have a top ten hit on Billboard in 2013, and as much as viewers love her or hate her, its exactly the attention NBC will need to keep the show fresh. Christina is polarizing, outrageous, and has the talent to back up her antics. I’m surprised they are even sticking with Shakira next spring despite the lukewarm reception she received during the live shows.

    For those who have been watching ABC this week, have you seen any The Middle promos?

  • Benjamin Glatt

    Ah, Grimm. The show that NBC decided was good enough to replace a truly awful show for four weeks on Tuesday. Now that it’s over until fall I can get to bed at a reasonable hour on Tuesdays so that I can get up for my why-God-why o’clock class.

  • JR35

    Aguilera has had hits as of late as a “featured” act- it’s generous to lend her “voice” to others hits and score there, while struggling with her own material. Only Legendtina. :)

    DWTS still attracts decent overall viewership- even though that’s not what advertisers focus on, 15m is a good number to tout.

  • Stop-Colin-Me

    Does anyone else get legit scared that “Dennis” is going to climb in your window while you’re sleeping, screaming “WOW FLOPENGE IS GOING DOWN HAHAHA :D ” because I wouldn’t be surprised.

  • Noname_Rex

    But wait a minute. Isn’t Grimm pulling the same numbers on Tuesday that it was on Friday? So why are people starting to call it a failure now? Because those numbers are just considered “bad” for a Tuesday show but “great” for a Friday show?

    JONNYSBRO, I like what you said about Grimm being to NBC what Shark Tank is to ABC in the sense that both networks have tried airing those shows on other nights during the week, but for whatever reason they both just seem to work best on Friday. After seeing how Grimm has done on other nights of the week, I definitely think you’re right about that.

    Personally, I don’t care what day of the week Grimm airs, I’ll follow it wherever it goes, but if airing Grimm on Fridays means that the show gets to have a nice, long run on NBC, I’m completely fine with it airing on Fridays. I just want it to be around for a long time, because it’s one of my top favorite TV shows. :)

  • Shepherd

    Even though it aired on a different night; I’m still happy to see that Grim was up over its season 1 finale. There’s nothing wrong with that. :)

    The only reason why THE VOICE is going down is because they abandoned their original format, to be like the cash cow sell-out and copy the same elimination process as American Idol. I think the producers were tired of Xtina giving 50/50 scores all the time at semis which is why it’s only viewers voting based now – WHICH IS COMPLETELY USELESS AND STUPID!!!!!! Seriously, talk about overkill!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HalCapone

    Not hating on Grimm but 1.7 is mediocre at best for a season finale, especially with The Voice lead-in. Those claiming it has many years of life just don’t pay attention to ratings and reality.

  • HalCapone

    @Tom
    [“The only reason why THE VOICE is going down is because they abandoned their original format”]

    Are you sure it has nothing to do with singing competition show fatigue and a Spring ratings swoon? Besides, no show lasts indefinitely.

  • Dan S

    The reality is Grimm is a hit on Fridays & will have a nice long run. I’m willing to bet that H50 will lose in the demo to Grimm come fall. The show that I hate seeing going up against Grimm will be Raising Hope. It’s too bad they couldn’t leave it on Tues where it’ll surely die on Fridays.

    @dan s

    could not agree more i think 5-O is only going to last 1-2 more seasons i think as long as CBS or ABC don’t move any BIG fanbased show’s grimm should last another 7-8 season’s (if not longer ;) )!

    Maroon Five’s Daylight peaked at #7 earlier this year
