    Pity it’s incredibly boring.

What did American Horror Story average, with Live+7 included?

  • Jojob

I’ve been getting super bored with tv lately. So much of the “same old, same old”.
The networks churn out scripted shows that seem like mediocre copies of previous hits.

Thanks to The Americans and Orphan Black (BBC America) I’m having fun again.

When I heard about the concept (see the cold war through the eyes of Russian protagonists) I was intrigued and thought that it would be difficult to pull off.
    They’re definitely pulling it off.
The action works and the rocky romantic relationship of the two leads (and of the FBI agent across the street) adds to it, rather than dragging the flow down as is often the case.
Excellent acting and writing! Nicely nuanced characters.

This is such an excellent show. FX produce some of the best drama on television.

  • John

Excellent show…not a snoozefest at all..

  • PurpleDrazi

    I’m not surprised. It’s a great show!

  • Wright

It’s a good show, but it’s nothing compared to Justified or SOA.

  • cas

Does most watched even matter? I mean really only the ratings points matter, not audience size, and I don’t think it comes close to SOA’s ratings.

A KICKER SHOW!! So glad we will get season 2!

  • davie

I’ve only ever seen the pilot episode. It was okay I just haven’t got back into it.

@cad no not even close to SOA. SOA averaged at least a 2.2 last season. Sometimes getting higher than 2.5. Justified averted about a 0.9 in its 4th season. the Americans was averaging if I remember around a .8 but I think I saw a .06 towards the end

  • Steve

Better than any drama on the “major” networks this season.

  • mmogaddict

Orphan Black and The Americans were both the best new TV on this season. Both had incredible actresses in them as well.

Interesting Justified was the other most watched freshman drama on FX. I like Justified but not nearly as much as Shield, Rescue me, The Americans… Bridge looks great. LOVE Ted Levine!
