Old Mike and the rest of you that might be interested.

My Brother in law and Nephew raised enough for 1.5 Track Chairs over the weekend by selling $100 beers at the end of their dock!! The weather did not fully cooperate so they came up a little short of the goal of 2 chairs! BUT……….the local Marinas are pitching in the rest to make it 2 chairs donated!!

By the way, they are doing this 100% anonymous because they do not want to turn it into a big local news flash. They do not want to steal the glory from the cause!

Democrats use race to defend Obama from criticism, but race is not what makes him special to the left. It is but one way in which he embodies an idea that existed long before him and will persist after he leaves office–namely, the Hegelian notion that the redistributionist state represents the fulfillment of history, that the noble intentions of the left make it morally superior, by default, regardless of their practical consequences.

  • SteveB

    Son of Coffee

Please tell your Dad that the next time he leaves. that he needs to make sure their is Enough Coffee in the Cupboard to last while he is gone.

After all it is his responsiblity..

OH my another spin lie for the DOJ and Jay Carney, Wonder how they will spin this. Looke like they went Shopping for a judge. I guess third time was a charm.

The new documents show that two judges separately declared that the Justice Department was required to notify Rosen of the search warrant, even if the notification came after a delay. Otherwise: “The subscriber therefore will never know, by being provided a copy of the warrant, for example, that the government secured a warrant and searched the contents of her e-mail account,” Judge John M. Facciola wrote in an opinion rejecting the Obama Administration’s argument.

Machen appealed that decision, and in September, 2010, Royce C. Lamberth, the chief judge in the Federal District Court for the District of Columbia, granted Machen’s request to overturn the order of the two judges.

    Obama can be heard screaming

    “Valerie!!”

She goes running to Obama’s office “Yes Sir?”

Obama: “Get me Christie on the phone!! NOW!”

    Jarrett looks puzzled…

Obama: “Do it now!! I am being pounded by all these scandals. IRS scandal is looking bad for me. My poll numbers have fallen again. I need a photo op!”

    Valerie: “Yes Sir…right away.”

Obama: “While you’re at – get Air Force One fired up…I’m going to Oklahoma…that should make me look presidential.”

    Valerie: “Yes Sir! right away.”

House Judiciary investigating whether Holder lied under oath

The House Judiciary Committee is investigating whether Attorney General Eric Holder lied under oath during his May 15 testimony on the Justice Department’s (DOJ) surveillance of reporters, an aide close to the matter told The Hill.

The panel is looking at a statement Holder made during a back and forth with Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) about whether the DOJ could prosecute reporters under the Espionage Act of 1917.

In regard to potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material — this is not something I’ve ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be wise policy,” Holder said during the hearing.

However, NBC News reported last week that Holder personally approved a search warrant that labeled Fox News chief Washington correspondent James Rosen a co-conspirator in a national security leaks case.

The panel is investigating whether NBC’s report contradicts Holder’s claim that he had not looked into or been involved with a possible prosecution of the press in a leaks case.

Holder’s testimony at the hearing came before Justice’s actions against Rosen had become public. The hearing was held after The Associated Press revealed the Department of Justice had secretly subpoenaed its phone records in a separate leaks investigation.

    Bloomberg’s Next Target: Street Cafes

New York City’s Department of Consumer Affairs has given notice to 17 restaurants that offer sidewalk cafe dining: Stop the outdoor service.

“Please be advised you have 100 business days from, and including May 1, to complete one of the following options,” the agency, which operates under Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s administration, said in a statement, reported by The New York Post.

Option No. 1: Provide the city with a “certified land survey” to prove the cafe business is conducted on private property. Option No. 2: Filing for an exemption of zoning law. Or Option No. 3: Surrender the business permit and close up the outdoor shop, The Post reported.

At least one diner characterized Mr. Bloomberg’s newest target as ludicrous, The Post reported.

“That’s ridiculous,” said Jane Lowe, dining at Saint Ambroeus’ outside care, in The Post. “That would take away the cultural image of the West Village.”

And business owners are worried, The Post said.

“I don’t know what to do,” said Chel Seng, Sushi Choshi owner, in The Post. “It will affect us. It’s very busy in the summer. It’s a main reason people come — to sit outside.”

WHY DO LIBERALS HATE SMALL BUSINESSES?? Liberals are doing everything in their power to shut down small businesses…while screaming we’re all about small businesses.

LIBERALS LIE, CHEAT, STEAL, PERJURE THEMSELVES, MONEY LAUNDER, BRIBE, PANDER AND COVER UP….all to protect themselves…AND NO ONE ELSE.

Proposed Regulations in Past 90 Days: 6,534

According to Regulations.gov, 6,534 new regulations have been proposed in the past 90 days. Proposed regulations include everything from importing plants for planting, meetings of the sub-Saharan Africa Advisory Committee, solicitation of comments and more.

As a reminder, regulations already in place are very expensive and are suffocating to the economy.

“Red Tape Rising: Regulation in Obama’s First Term” reveals that annual regulatory costs increased by more than $23.5 billion during President Obama’s fourth year in office. This brings Obama’s first-term total to nearly $70 billion, a staggering level that is likely unmatched by any Administration in the nation’s history. And despite a much-touted initiative to weed out unnecessary regulations, only two major rule changes reduced regulatory burdens in 2012.

And, the report points out, there are many more rules to come, with an extraordinarily large number of regulations in the pipeline, including hundreds required under the Dodd–Frank financial regulation law and Obamacare.

    Just how stupid is usa8888

“This just in: stocks jump on rising home prices and consumer confidence…this in spite of the right wing GOP HOuse trying everything to ruin the economy and jobs (Chriscee’s philosophy)….”

US DOW index rose to a high of 177 pts before the opening on the greed of large holders of company stocks on the word that foreign countries were starting to print worthless money.

After the consumer confidence report the DOW has fallen to 124 or less. How stupid can you get? In the case of usa0000 the bottom has yet to be reached.
