Head Line News is back down to normal from last week’s 2nd place after Fox

  • Chriscee

HLN back to normal…Fox numbers are #1 per usual…nothing new….except msnBS just keeps losing more and more viewers.

You would think..they’d change their rhetoric.

  • old Mike

Should have posted from Wednesday and Thursday numbers. Long weekend messed up my brain.

  • Ralph Hahn

Fox News wins again. The Five beat The Factor in the demo and came damm close in the total viewer tallies. I believe The Five was also live.

Nothing was normal Friday night. Repeats, specials and sub-hosts ruled the cable waves. People on the roads Friday nights for the three-day weekend. Can’t use this as any kind of windmill. Same for Monday ratings. Tuesday is the first normal day of regular programming which I hope we’ll see posted in its regular release time before 5pm edt Wednesday.

Issa subpoenas State Dept. documents on Benghazi talking points

House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) has subpoenaed State Department documents related to the Benghazi talking points, according to a letter sent to Secretary of State John Kerry obtained by The Hill.

In the letter, Issa states that the department’s release of 100 emails earlier this month was “incomplete.” Issa demands that Kerry produce “relevant documents through subpoena.

The enclosed subpoena covers documents and the communications related to talking points prepared for members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and used by Ambassador Susan Rice during her September 16th, 2012, appearances on CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox, and CNN.”

Issa said that the documents released on May 20 did not answer “critical” questions posed by the committee as it investigates what happened during the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, and the aftermath of that terror attack that killed former U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stephens and three other Americans.

More than one week after the attack, Rice took to the airwaves to blame the attack on a protest over an anti-Islam video, denying that it had anything to do with terrorism, despite the CIA’s belief that the attack was caused by terrorists.

Issa wants details of emails between key State Department officials, including then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s chief of staff, Cheryl Mills, Deputy Secretary of State William Burns, Deputy Assistant Secretary Philippe Reines and then-State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland, among others.

The subpoena compels the State Department to produce the documents by June 7.

But to Obama and his lackeys on 4 DEAD AMERICANS….”what difference does it make? “Mere bumps in the road.” And to Obama they were “NOT OPTIMAL.”

    From Thursday Feed

@Ralph..ty…and sounds like you are very proud of both of your parents as well.

I was very proud to take my dad who will be 80 in October…to Fort Logan and to Fort Collins to see the Traveling Vietnam War Memorial.

If that traveling memorial ever comes to a town near you…I highly recommend visiting it. It’s an awesome sight to see.

Sebelius on hot seat amid rising angst over ObamaCare rollout

Kathleen Sebelius is in the hot seat amid rising angst over the administration’s implementation of ObamaCare.

The Health and Human Services (HHS) secretary is implementing the biggest change to the nation’s healthcare system in decades, and the stakes couldn’t be higher.

ObamaCare will be a top issue for voters, if not the top issue, in the 2014 election. President Obama is aiming to help Democrats retain the Senate and win back the House for his last two years in office. If ObamaCare stumbles badly next year, Republicans could control both chambers of Congress in 2015.

ObamaCare has always been controversial, routinely blasted by the GOP. But now, Sebelius is taking some friendly fire.

A liberal lawmaker who requested anonymity said, “She’s been terribly defensive, terribly slow to react.”

“There have been many conversations among progressives about this. We want a personality that acts to confront any glitches immediately — more of a nose-to-the-grindstone manager.

Eric Holder might apologize to Eric Holder.
But, if you were Eric Holder, would you find Eric Holder’s apology to be sincere?
Would you believe anything that Eric Holder says?

  • Chriscee

NY Post: How Does Holder Survive?

If you want to see the true face of the Obama administration, you need look no further than the president’s embattled attorney general, Eric Holder.

By turns whiny, shifty, obfuscatory, petulant, insulting and arrogant, Holder has become a fixture before congressional investigating committees, fending off one Obama scandal after another, while proclaiming that he — the nation’s top cop — doesn’t know anything about anything and highly resents any implication that he does.

Indeed, all the Obama scandals — the murderous gunrunning scheme called Fast and Furious, the secret monitoring of the Associated Press and Fox News reporter James Rosen (personally approved by Holder), even the Internal Revenue Service’s targeting of conservative and Tea Party groups for special scrutiny — find their nexus at the top of the Justice Department.

Illinois Teacher Faces Disciplinary Action for Informing Students of Constitutional Rights

Informing Americans of their Constitutional rights is apparently verboten nowadays. On the heels of news that the IRS targeted groups attempting to educate Americans about the Constitution, a high school teacher in Illinois is facing disciplinary action due to informing students of their rights under the Fifth Amendment.

An Illinois Social Studies teacher faces disciplinary action for reminding his students of their Fifth Amendment rights when filling out a school survey on behavior, according to the Daily Herald.
John Dryden was collecting the surveys before class when he noticed the students’ names were printed on them. He looked to see what was being asked and noticed questions about alcohol and drug use.

Dryden told his students that they had a Constitutional right to not incriminate themselves by answering questions on the survey.

And because of this, the school board is considering disciplinary action against Mr. Dryden. Luckily, a small group of concerned citizens – including students – is standing up for the actions of the high school teacher and encouraging parents to do so as well.

In the current climate, where the federal government has been claiming unprecedented authority in gathering information on its citizens – particularly on journalists – it’s important that people know their rights when some authoritative organization is asking for personal information they’re not entitled to.

  • Chriscee

    @Snap Tie

As well as they should be. Holder perjured himself…to congress….and that is a federal offense…that will bring jail time to Holder.

  • Ralph Hahn

WHOA! I checked out today’s Huffington Post and boy have they are having THEIR fun with kicking Obama around. There is also an article about “What’s wrong with MSNBC?” Do you believe it? The Huff Post, not exactly a bastion of conservative views. They also ran that headline FOX NEWS WAS RIGHT last week. Maybe Ariana’s profit share from the corporation that bought the HP, is down.

There was also a weekend duel of Bob Schieffer of CBS News and one of my least favorite people in politics, David Axelrod, now an NBC analyst. Schieffer is whing all over the place of having to get White House Communications approval of any guest he wants on “Face The Nation.” I think last year Schieffer made a remark blasting conservatives, GOP and the media for NOT loving their President as they should.

Fox Democrat analyst Kirsten Powers seems to have turned away from the DNC because of Obama’s and Holder’s antics. Might be a job open at Fox for a new Democrat analyst. LOL

The Tea Party is starting to rebuild itself and have received more support since the IRS was looking into its members’ personals. More Democrats are asking Holder to resign.

Posters here who have given up for dead the Republicans, The Tea Party and conservatives, are going to be in for quite a shock. They better get used to hearing President Chris Christie come January of 2017. LOL ;0

  • Todd

Salon put out a piece about declining ratings at MSNBC. They site in part scandals on the left are pushing the ratings down. How can that be When Liberal networks don’t cover WH scandals?

  • Ralph Hahn

@US A-hole, Little Rascal, president of the Women’s Haters Club:

How come you have FAILED to produce the facts that Fox News viewers are 2/3rds ‘elderly’? When you’re not bullying women, you come out with the same ol’/same ol’ infantile statements, like your Top 27 lists. Any second grader can see that your $#1t is ALL OPINION and nothing is factual.

Time to start treating your fellow posters with respect and stop writing for the lowest common denominator, your stupid slogans and empty charges. Man up, pu$$yboy.

  • Snap Tie

@Chriscee : Hope by now you have heard Holder when judge shopping? Turned down twice – then went to the the third judge to get the warrant using the Espionage Act – including Rosen was a flight risk.

  • Chriscee

Yeah Rosen is about as much of flight risk as I am.

The liberal left..would do ANYTHING to win….and I mean anything!!

  • Jim S.

FYI – Ralph – saw a few comments on Dingy Harry and ” Casino”. If anyone cares, Harry was a state assemblyman, lt. Gov., gaming commission, 2 terms in the U.S. HOUSE, then elected to Senate, if I remember correctly, in ’86.

  • Chriscee

    Can Obama do anything correctly?

    He can’t skeet shoot!
He can’t play golf worth a damn!!
He can’t play basketball much better!!

And now he can’t EVEN WIN A STUFF BEAR at an arcade game. Christie kicked Obama’s behind….AGAIN!!
