In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday night:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

I watched Chelsea Lately, Mary Tyler Moore, and Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman.

The Goodwin Games is to good for this ratings… oh what the hell, i don’t even care with tv shows anymore because of the cancelation of Go On.

  • CBSviewer

    @ Sam

Revolution is NBC’s most valuable show.

Not sure. Chicago Fire is also very valuable because it didn’t have a huge lead-in (compare to Revolution) but it is a hit. That’s maybe why NBC moved it to Tuesday at 10 after The Voice.
Revolution premiered with The Voice as lead-in (which explains a part of its success) but, I agree with you, now it doesn’t need The Voice anymore.

  • Kaylie

These Voice ratings are the same ratings American Idol has been getting after being on the air for 12 years. And people complain that the Voice is better than Idol. Voice wont last half the amount of years Idol have, nor will it reach the peak it did.

  • ToXiX

But Voice will do better than AI for the rest of its existence.

    @ ToXiX and Kaylie

Considering TV is changing The Voice will never get American Idol’s ratings. But, on the other hand, a 4.0 became pretty high now. Of course The Voice is falling. Last year it got 6.0 and more several times but it became TV’s #1 Performance Show.

  • AniMatsuri

The majority thought Revolution would rise. 23.98% of us figured it would be flat. Yay us!

  • Oliver

It’s amazing how badly New Girl repeats.

  • NBC Fan

I agree. New Girl will not do well in syndication.

  • lostboy

@CBS viewers they are so old they didn’t even know H50 was a repeat. The Greatest Generation and the Baby Boomers still think H50 never ended.
Actually surprised anyone watched tv on Memorial Weekend. Tha’st probably why H50 repeated so well in Memory of H50 .Aloha Book him Dano Friday Nights with Magnem/Blue Bloods the oldest skewing show on CBS. .

  • Phil

    What a flop night!

  • VC

Goodwin games seems to be a good show. Give it a chance people!!

  • FellDownTheBog78

    Revulsion is revolting.

  • Jon

Do people not realize it’s summer? 3.1 for a May 27 show is pretty darn good. Do people really honestly believe any show would be getting the same ratings it did 6 weeks ago, especially a show like the voice which depends on high demo. Guess what, your younger people are more likely to not be watching tv when its nice out. In reality a 3.1 is still very imprseeive.

  • Jon

@ VC…..goodwin games is already cancelled. Not much point in people investing time in it.

  • josh2770

wow revolution is the first prime time show to go into june kudos! ;) (at least this year)

  • roly

Premire on memorial day was mega-goofy.

  • Andrew

I saw the pilot episode of Goodwin Games online and liked it so I decided to see the second episode of it live at 8:30. It’s too bad FOX decided to burn it off in the summer instead of putting it in the Ben & Kate slot when it got cancelled, especially since its from the creators of How I Met Your Mother (they should have promoted that fact). GG still managed to tie repeats of New Girl and Mindy Project with slightly more total viewers on FOX’s new temporary Monday comedy night. Perhaps GG would have been more suited for FX, as it gets numbers similar to Anger Management (but I’m sure is a lot cheaper to make).

On another note, CW beat FOX in total viewers (but not the demo), when was the last time that happened?

  • Andrew

Not true! Its a good summer show to watch even if it’s only going to be on for one season. 30 minutes a week isn’t too much time to invest in a summer of mostly repeats. Most of the people on here who saw the pilot episode have said positive things about it and have decided to watch Goodwin Games further. I predict GG will stay steady at 0.6-0.7 the rest of the season and possibly uptick a little. FOX should show GG at 8:00PM instead of burying it in between repeats at 8:30 and it might uptick a little.

  • Alex

why can’t any of you guys tell the difference between it’s and its? Are all of you non native speakers? Because I’m not a native speaker and I know the difference!
