    I agree with your comment about The Bachelorette , Michael. This is the first season I have not watched The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. I didn’t like Desiree when she was on with Sean. The show made such a big deal about her being a fan favorite , but I don’t think the fans think so . : ) I’d love to hear from other fans — Do you like Desiree or do you wish the producers had chosen someone else ? Every bachelorette has been someone from The Bachelor. I think it would be more fun to see a beautiful , successful woman who’s new — like they do with the bachelors. Does anyone agree ?

    Revolution ratings are a mess. Another season nbc wasted the voice lead in. And not just the monday night slot after the voice but even the tuesday one. They should have gone with chicago fire on mondays right away. It’s kinda like a procedural but still with some character development. They should have also put multi-camera sitcoms after the voice tuesday episodes and not matthew perry’s show. Next falls schedule seems good but i can’t help but notice that nbc has wasted the voice lead in for 2 seasons now, they should be careful ’cause if they keep doing 2 cycles per year it won’t be a rating’s powerhouse for much longer

    Comparing revolution with smash is just silly. Why do people use ratings for smash to conclude that rev will do the same. I don’t see the connection.

    @OddGuy
    Why do networks repeat canceled shows?

    Because they still have to fill 22 hours of primetime during the summer.

    If they think repeats of a canceled show will produce better numbers than repeats of their other shows, or they just don’t have enough airings left of their renewed shows, then they air canceled shows.

    @Wright
    I can’t believe Revolution didn’t adjust up.

    The Voice runs into the 10pm hour and has much higher ratings than Revolution, why would you ever expect Revolution to adjust up?

  • Phlox

    I think people think that this show will be boring.

    Bring back Bentley Williams!!! Ha.

  • Phlox

    I mean the Bachelorette.

  • Jon

    why is my above comment awaiting moderation? What is in that comment that could possibly need to be moderated?

    @peter
    @Revolution ratings are a mess

    Not really. The show is stable now and has found its footing. It also has a sizable increase when the Live + 7 ratings are added in.

    You’l have to excuse me for not buying that, when the show is pulling a 4.0, 3.6, 3.7, 2.8, 3.5 18-49 in the back half of the season when the Live + 7 numbers are released.

    lolol at Flopution fans on here….

    1.9 with the voice as a lead in is terrible!! :D

    Its going to flop so badly next year! :D

    And I can’t believe that loser on the last page comparing it to Star Trek! BAHAHA

  • Stan

    @Dennis

    I stopped watching Revolution but I have to say that I don’t agree with you. At the beginning of season 1b of revolution it got a lead-in of the voice which scored a 4.7 19-49 rating. Revolution scored afterwards a 2.2 (April 1st). That’s a retention of 46%. This week The Voice scored a 3.2 and Revolution a 1.9. That’s a retention of almost 60%. So I think Revolution is finding it’s audience.

    It’s less good news for the Voice, starting the season with a 4.8 and now scoring a 3.2, it lost 33% of it’s audience. While Revolution only lost 13% of it’s audience. (comparisson with Season 4 of The Voice and Season 1B (spring season) of Revolution)

  • Stan

    BTW weird to see Revolution at a 1.9 with 6,32 million viewers. On April 1st Revolution scored a 2.2 with 6,36 million viewers. Revolution added 600.000 viewers compared to last week. =)

  • Dennis

    LostBoy

    Who said, “Revolution will make it to 4 seasons and a short 5th season, it’s already got a deal for netflix”

    Ehh….. 666 park ave also got licensed to Netflix in the same deal, and that was cancelled after 9 episodes aired.

    So that means nothing at all.

    and 5 seasons??? Even Heroes didn’t make it to 5 seasons…and that stayed about 10 million viewers for the first 2 full seasons….

    Revolution is still worse then the worst season on that show.

    Revolution season 1 low (so far) was 1.8 for episode 14(?)
    Heroes series low was 1.8 for episode 74

  • Dennis

    And i’m only comparing it to Heroes because that was the last flagship scifi show on NBC

  • John A

    Maybe Dennis is a bitter Heroes fan. Seems to know alot about its ratings.

  • Dennis

    @John A

    Hardly, a simple check on wikipedia told me its lowest rating

  • Chris

    Dennis, don’t you have anything better to do with your life then continually bash television shows? You’ve made your point clear that you don’t like the show so why do you keep posting the same thing over and over? Seriously, you need a hobby or something, you clearly have way too much time on your hands.

  • DanTheMan

    Dennis, 1.9 is good. Grimm averages about 1.7 and Chicago Fire’s season finale only managed to get a 1.7. Revolution has been holding steady at 1.9/2.0 which makes it NBC’s highest rated drama.

  • The End

    @Chris

    It’s a troll, best to ignore it. If he understood ratings, and actually looked on Wikipedia, he’d see the almost insane increase in the Live + 7 area. He claims the show has no viewers, but that is wrong on almost every imaginable level.

    Show me another show that has pulled a 4.0 18-49 in the Live + 7 on NBC besides The Voice lol.

  • Hardline_Pro

    @Dennis – Youre probably right, it is going to get the “Smash” treatment and get a Saturday-night runoff.
