    Go Y&R and DAYS!!!!
Both are on a roll and DAYS in 3rd place, good for them!

Y&R will GO UP some more next week due to JC’s Memorial tribute and DAYS will go up more too due to Kristen being exposed and Will waking up!

  • Mike

Way to move up in the demos Y&R. That’s good.

Good to see the soaps up.

  • jupiter3765

what where all my childrens ratings when it got cancelled and does the chew has the same ratings as which all my children did or about the same

  • lm cee

I am probably going to get slammed for this but I am not surprised by GH. This show is horrible and getting worse. I haven’t watched continually since Steve left. This show lacks root for couples among a lot of other things. Just when I think it can’t get worse I am proven wrong and RC brings back Franco but I guess he isn’t called RERUNRON for nothing.

  • Anon

GH was so fantastic during it’s 50th anniversary but ever since it’s been on and off and it was completely ridiculous imo bringing back the OLTL cast members as different characters. I would’ve rathered them just go back to OLTL.

jupiter3765…the ratings for AMC during its last season on the air ranged from a low of 2.19 million viewers (week of June 27, 2011) to a high of 2.70 million (week of Sept. 5, 2011). During its final week AMC averaged 2.99 million viewers (week of Sept. 19, 2011). For its last several months, AMC averaged between 2.3 and 2.5 million viewers.

Unlike the soaps, the numbers for “The Chew” are not made public on a weekly basis. During the 2011-12 season, the viewers for “The Chew” ranged between 1.78 million (week of Oct. 3, 2011 – its second week on the air) and 2.59 million (week of Dec. 19, 2011). During the last months of the 2011-12 season, the numbers for “The Chew” hovered around the 2 million viewers mark.

The ratings for “The Chew” became more sporadic during the 2012-13 season. The last time I saw any numbers for “The Chew” was back in January and February 2013. During the week of Jan. 21, 2013, “The Chew” had 2.63 million viewers, which increased to 2.65 million the following week (Jan. 28, 2013). The last numbers I saw were for the week of Feb. 4, 2013 and for that week “The Chew” drew 2.53 million viewers.

I expect Days will go up even more with all the drama still unfolding. B&B def. deserved it’s rise, started watching last week after not having time with the return of AMC and OLTL and its better than ever.

  • Deshawn

People are talking about the oltls but they had to change there names because prospect park is suing abc it’s a shame no one want to support the show when they cancel it don’t say nothing all the soaps have been boring not just gh people are always negative me and Seven people I know are still riding with gh if your that negative don’t watch stop talking mess people aren’t right y and r have been boring lately as well nobodys saying nothing about that

  • Bex

While it’s good to see all the soaps up in total viewers and in the demos, I’m especially glad to see the jump in viewers for “Y & R”. IMO, the show is telling some very good story at this time. The show is now facing how to deal with the impending demise of Katherine Chancellor (played by the late & beloved Jeanne Cooper who is sorely missed!), so there should be some good story lines to be played out come late Summer.

    Keep it up, “Y & R”!!

  • Bex

GH numbers pretty much mimic what they were last week, if not worst. They had the viewers at the start of the week, and basically people started tuning out by the end of the week. I don’t think many people are interested in the OLTL characters coming back as new ones.

Any growth for DOOL is great, I’m really pulling for them, and I hope they keep pulling those numbers up.

  • Cath

I love (not really) how everyone reacted to “Todd’s” face as “Oh my God, it’s Franco.” So bizarre. I guess they could have gone, “Oh my God, it’s Jason,” and we would have been expected to buy that too. I like Roger Howarth and I even liked him as an actor all those years ago when he was the really despicable Todd, but rehabilitating Franco is nonsense. Transplanting all those OLTL actors as new characters has been awful. The acting has suffered because it looks as if the actors are having a hard time buying this. New Lulu is off-putting also. I thought that once I could watch in real time, now that school is out, things would be better. Nope…worse. What has happened? I just don’t care at all any more. Now that the 50th anniversary is over maybe ABC is going back to the master plan to get rid of GH because the writers are doing their best to drive the long time viewers away…again.

  • RIckster

… I guess I can say I’m kinda glad GH is the only soap I do not watch at all. Sounds like the character changes have been more than confusing.

  • Jeff

Gh has not been great by any means, but glad there are still small ratings improvements. It can rebound. I hope they quickly get rid of Franco, Kiki, and Silas. HORRIBLE. They need to wrap up baby non-sense, get rid of Lulu, Spinelli, and Britt. Bring back Robin, send her off with Patrick, and I actually now think Sabrina is viable if they put her with someone age appropriate. Maybe they need to have a serial killer plot that cleans some house. It will help the budget, and eliminate some major dead weight, and a well-done serial killer story almost always gets the ratings up.

I am usually a big fan of Frank and Ron, but the using of the 3 OLTL actors as new characters is just stupid. I can only wonder if someone at ABC is making them keep the three of them just to win a pissing contest with PP. That wouldn’t surprise me at all.

  • GHFan

Finally GH is down to 4th place!! I’m only happy to see this since **maybe** it will get RC’s butt out of there! He is so arrogant and announces that he & his OLTL crew are amazing but its clearly not translating into raitngs!

My wish is for GH to rebound, but it won’t as long as RC is in control. My all time favorite soap has now become unwatchable. It’s sad. I miss the old, real GH. : (

  • gene

DAYS has been ON FIRE lately, glad people are taking notice.

  • moshane58

Glad to see all soaps up.Really surprised over GH.I myself loved the show.I came back a year ago because all the gang stuff stopped and now its a soap.People may not like the new characters but they are trying to bring them on since PP won’t let them use them as they where. Can’t blame them from being tired of all the moving ABC made them do and take paycuts knowing they where going to cancel them.PP cannot afford the salaries or full time work of a network. Can’t blame them for not giving up full time work and moving again. As far as AMC and OLTL really wonder why we aren’t allow to know total viewers. We know it won’t be nothing like a network but loved to see how many are watching. They only say millions of downloads and nothing more.Think they could give us some numbers.

  • Kelby

    Y&R and DOOL stink!

  • Mike

What is the difference in you saying all the other shows are boring and someone not liking something about GH? I guess it is okay for you to put down the other shows but I guess there is some mandate out there that no one can say anything against GH.

Boring is up to the person watching. I watch Y&R and B&B and I don’t find either of them boring at all.

But others do and I am not going to sit around and cry about it. Not everyone likes the same thing.

It’s good that you like whatever is going on at GH. But many don’t and that is their right.

  • MM

For all of those cheering DOOL ratings improvements!
DOOL has only been good for 2 weeks at least.
People are choosing to forget that prior to a few weeks ago, the only thing most of the characters were talking about was,the plan, the plan
but never telling the viewer what the damn plans were!!
    How soon we forget!

As for GH,I suspect it will get better. RC was writer of OLTL and was fantastic as we know but his writing there wasn’t perfect his entire tenure. There were some missteps which is natural but he rebounded. I am confident he’ll rebound again with GH.
