Revolution is a bona fide hit! ;-) :-)

  • Chris

    @The End
Rev pretends it is SciFi, but it is even more fantastical (so far anyway) than Arrow. With Arrow pulling in ~1.0, it is more than capable of costing a few tenths to Rev. It is not the network, but the program.

  • Chris

@dennis – It is death by a 1000 cuts. Not an arrow to the knee.

  • The End

Nice joke there, I laugh at anyone who considers any CW show competition enough to any network. I too watch and like Arrow, but don’t consider it or any CW show enough to put a dent in any networks numbers.

  • Chris

@The End – We will just have to wait and see.

MOndays 10pm still remains a soft hour with no network managing a loud hit that maintains the noise. I now worry for The Blacklist. It will probably launch big but may fizzle.

Revolution now has it’s own audience. Very stable.

  • The End

@We will just have to wait and see.

Personally I have lost count the amount of people here who have made fantastical claims like yours and have been proven wrong and have basically stayed quiet. It’s all part of commenting here I guess, in the time I’ve been here I’ve rarely been wrong in my predictions for shows and their renewals.

It’s not about the show Arrow, no. It’s more that the CW is a dreadful network, pulling dreadful numbers that really should of moved to cable to even justify such numbers and its own existence.

  • Hardline_Pro

Can’t wait for Revolution season 2!

  • CBSviewer

A 2.0 is good for Revolution considering we are in June and The Voice is not as high as it was in the fall. Revolution is not lead-in dependant and it has now its own fanbase which makes me think the timeslot where it airs is irrelevant. Of course it will loose 0.1 or 0.2 against Idol and Survivor (Arrow gets 0.9 or 1.0 and it’s not a real danger).

  • ERICinHB

we should cancel Dennis, such a tool and a troll to boot…….

  • Chris

@The End – Well I think you were wrong in your prediction for the adjusted Rev finale and I was correct. But since you missed the point, you cannot say with any degree of certainty that Arrow will not knock a point or two off of Rev.

You also seem to think I am saying Rev *will* die. I am not. I am saying that it will be close unless they really improve the show. Since I see no reason to expect that, then lack of a decent lead-in and Arrow *could* push it below the bubble.

I may wander away for the Summer, but I am pretty sure I will be back to this site next Fall. If you are correct and Arrow has no impact, then I will congratulate you and probably adapt the same disregard to the CW’s ratings.

I know who The End is talking about and even though he comes on a bit strong at times, he usually (not always though) has valid points. It’s also worth pointing out that Revolution had a much, much higher lead-in than Revenge and in the end it’s not Revenge that has to vacate its time slot next season, is it? ;)

Wow, New Girl was the lowest rated show on Fox for the night. The Goodwin Games is pretty bad, it didn’t live up to the potential of its original trailer at all. Fox was right to hold it back as long as it did.

  • Iggy

I expect Revolution to do just fine on Wednesdays at 8pm. LOL J/K

  • Joe

I bet Mistresses won’t last more than a few episodes.

  • DarthSidVicious

Revolution’s numbers stink! It lost nearly half its lead-in against WHAT competition? A Premiere (Misteresses) which exploded on the launch pad, and just ANOTHER retarded cop show (H50). The show is already in a vegetative state and free of the life support machine, which is “The Voice”, it will wither and die.

  • JacobYates

Raising Hope repeats well. Better than New Girl and Goodwin Games originals.

  • RS

Revolution has stolen, not the co-creator of Supernatural – that was all Kripke’s baby, but one of its best writers who has been with the show since Season 2. As one reviewer put it, I’d read and review Ben Edlund if he wrote a Chinese take-out menu. I should be furious that SPN is losing him (to be replaced by the duo that tanked Ringer – it’s like replacing a Lamborghini with a tricycle), but I’ll continue to watch both shows. His specialty, however, is outrageous humor (although he can do drama), and no character on Rev. appears to have a sense of humor. Let alone expecting the actors to handle the more difficult job that is comedy.

  • SueP

As much as some people might think Arrow could take a bite out of Revolution next season, I agree with @The End because the opposite is also true. Revolution has more viewers and could (and probably will) take a bigger bite out of Arrow. I’m one of the people who watched both this season, and in my opinion, Revolution had the better story. I’ll follow it to Wednesday, and Arrow will go to the DVR. I’m probably not the only one. I think Revolution will be fine in its new time slot.

  • The End

Equally I respect your opinions, that wasn’t a dig at you or anything earlier, respect where respect is due, you’ve earned it.

  • Fred

So if Carrie Diaries was adjusted down it would have been 0. Did CW ever fall to a 0 before?
