thats a huge total viewer increase from last week but the demo barely moved up. Whats happening on this show anyways?

  • Paul

Well deserved. It was a great week with standout performances from Eileen Davidson (Kristen) and Blake Berris (Nick). Honorary mentions go to Chandler Massey (Will), Freddie Smith (Sonny), Eric Martsolf (Brady) and Deidre Hall (Marlena).

  • mike

Kristen is exposed!!! That is why huge ratings :)

  • mike

so days of our lives get +400.000 viewers? COOL

  • Jeff

Good for Days of Our Lives. Hope all soaps keep up on the upswing.

  • robert

Remarkable climb. Days is so good right now.

  • Derrick

    Go DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Kyle

Awesome job, DAYS! The show has been awesome the last two weeks.

  • Mosaintsfan

Very excited over the ratings- obviously a long way to go but the writing has been great (not to mention superb casting/acting!). NBC has finally done something right to stay with DAYS!!!

  • K

Was this the week, that Nick admitted he was raped in prison?

  • Eddie

That is great for DAYS!! Days of Our Lives has some really good, solid storylines going right now. It reminds me of where the show was back in the early and mid 90’s when it was doing so well! Good storytelling is what will bring in those great ratings! This should drive DAYS up to a 2.1 or 2.2 Rating. I will stick with my prediction back in January when Eileen Davidson was coming back to DAYS, I said give Days of Our Lives a Year and it will be battling B&B for the No 2 spot. Lauren Koslow, Arianne Zucker, Eileen Davidson and of course Chandler Massey has brought the part of Will full circle. I think DAYS cast is more solid now than it has been in many years. Th eonly things is I wish Crystal Chappell would come back soon! Way to go DAYS!!!

  • Jill

DAYS is kicking butt!!! I am happy for the show. DAYS has held up better than most soaps because of a very loyal fan base. I also think they brought on some veteran actors like Deidre Hall and Eileen Davidson to give them great ratings!!

  • Fox

It’s really well-deserved. The show’s been very entertaining (well, except for the Jennifer/Daniel material .. lol!) And I wish NBC would release the online stats as well, since last time they were posted here (via ABC), DAYS was one of NBC’s top shows.

Great news for DAYS!!! Keep Eileen Davidson (Kristen) front and center!!! She is setting the town of Salem on fire! Every actor involved in her storyline is stepping up their game and it’s showing in the ratings! Her confrontation scenes with Deidre Hall (Marlena) are so fun and exciting and her scenes with with Eric Martsolf (Brady) are RED HOT!!!

Also, a huge thumbs up to Chandler Massey (Will) and Freddie Jones (Sonny)! They have been excellent in their storyline these past few months!

If DAYS keeps Eileen Davidson, Deidre Hall, Chandler Massey and Freddie Jones front and center and keep writing exciting, mature storylines, they will continue to see their ratings climb even higher! DAYS is the best soap on the air at the moment! KEEP IT UP, DAYS!!!

  • Laurie

Days has not been this good for a lonnnng time!! Since the late 90’s!! I don’t really fast forward through anything now…well, except for Jennifer and Daniel(sorry!)

NBC should support Days. Right now it seems that it is the only show, prime time or daytime that has increased in viewers. High rated American Idol or Dancing with the Stars keep seeing drops in viewers. There has got to be said that an increase in viewership is an extremely positive sign. NBC please keep supporting Days and give it the respect it deserves.

  • Chuck

I am glad Days has had an increase in viewers! NBC should stand behind Days and support it and not give up on it like they do so many of the good shows they toss out the door!
