    Masterchef is on fire!!!!!!

  • forg

MF rerun adjusted up as well

  • GARebelman

Masterchef is holding its own in a two hour installment on a new night no doubt.

I am rooting for Jessie though I am irritated the producers like forced melodrama for the sake of it. Ruins it at times for me. I am there to watch them grow and learn not to be bitchy

  • Amy

I don’t understand why MC is on for 2 hrs. Why not just air 1 episode @ 9pm?

  • MichaelChickless

    Ramsay is a ratings machine!

  • HalCapone

    Food shows are tasty.

  • Iggy

Why not just air 1 episode @ 9pm?

FOX needs to run through ~20 episodes before MasterChef Juniors (and Hotel Hell).

  • AJ

Wow that Graceland ad is obnoxious!

  • Alan M.

Didnt used to have Masterchef on 2 nights a week, Wednesday and Thursday? One night for team challenge + face-off, the other night for Mystery Box + elimination challenge?

Not sure why this year it’s 1 x once per week for 2 hours. I would prefer twice a week x 1 hour each.

  • K

Because Fox is short of shows that people actually want to watch. So You Think…is 2 hours on one night as well.

  • Michael

My goodness, should be interesting to see which show will top the 18-49 list once The Voice is off the air the remainder of the spring/summer schedule. Masterchef is a BEAST! We’ll see how AGT performs throughout the season.

    @K & @Iggy,
In that case why not just run MasterChef , 2 nights a week as a lead into So You Think You Can Dance , at least that way they might get some extra momentum from he Lead In , or is it because MasterChef builds ,
    That said ,
Anyone have the 1/2 hour numbers for MasterChef ?

  • John K

Big Brother will also now air at 8pm from the beginning (was originally supposed to start at 9pm, and move to 8 when “Baking” finished), so that will likely give Masterchef a run for its money.

  • Nick

Where is Baking going to move to once Big Brother premieres?

Wherever it goes, hopefully CBS won’t be dumb enough to put it against a Ramsay show. That’s the only thing killing this show – airing against Masterchef.

And MC is on fire this season.

  • The End

@That’s the only thing killing this show

Nah. What’s killing this show is the fact it skews far too old. If it skewed younger, it would be doing fine really. Then again, this is airing on CBS.

  • Shiro

if MC is run 2 times per week, there no way it would gotten 2.6 on the other night (maybe will get around the same rating for both night, 2.1-2.3). shows that aired 2 hours straight have potential to increase in rating in the second hours.

  • Caden

Way to perpetuate the stereotype that old people love baking, American Baking Challenge.

  • r0ckmypants

@Nick – American Baking Competition gets pushed back to 9:00 on June 26.

  • Joey

Any news on the Job? Cbs surely has unaired episodes that they want to burn off?

  • K

    @Joseph A

Fox knows what it is doing with Masterchef. It is a nice way to spend a Wed evening, for those not into the NCIS shows.
