Falling Skies season 3

Falling Skies is premiering its third season Sunday night with a two-hour episode starting at 9PM . The TNT sci-fi drama is a fairly stable performer, with last year's season premiere earning a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating and the finale dipping just a tenth to a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating. Will fans show up again for the third season premiere? Make your predictions below!

  • Dillan

    I think 1.5. This season looks amazing!

  • John A

    How long before we have comments like Falling Flop or Flop Skies? Ill guess 1.5.

  • Dennis

    1.2 – 1.3 Slight dip, but it is going against the GoT finale…

    4th season guarantee

  • Colin

    Why is Showtime so stupid to air this aginst the Got finale?

  • hello

    While i didn’t think season 2 was very good it ended on an awesome cliffhanger, so i think 1.6-1.7

  • Shiro

    @Colin
    if you want to b*tching, at least get the network right. its not Showtime but TNT

  • josh2770

    @colin

    WUT?

  • Anna Bones Clarkwood

    This did get a lot of NBA Playoffs exposure, episodes after & I’m sure plenty of commercials. I think new fans might tune in b/c of it.

  • Cyrax86

    1.3

  • Hillbilly

    1.5

    Can cable shows make syndication after 88 episodes? The 2 hour premiere is two 1 hour shows. I’m guessing they do that so it counts as 2 shows. I can’t name a cable show in syndication off the top of my head.

  • The End

    1.5 ;)

    With a Season 4 announcement within two months, to film September time. I’m calling it.

  • Ekras

    It was a pretty stupid thing to go against the GoT finale….but I still predict a modest rise… i’m guessing 1.6-1.7. Lots of new people learned about the series since it was on last, and season 2 was amazing…..

  • The End

    Some House fans may watch for Robert Sean Leonard(Wilson) who is in 5 episodes this season.

  • David

    I can only watch Game of Thrones online anyway because I don’t have the TV Channel. But I do have access to an HBOGo account. So no prob. I’ll be watching Falling Skies live, then GoT immediately after so no one spoils it for me.

    Watched online

    @Hillbilly – South Park, Sunny in Philadelphia, The Closer, Monk, Burn Notice, Psych to new a few, have syndication deals on local stations.

  • The End

    @Hillbilly

    Hate to state the obvious but Sundays episode is 2 separate episodes.

  • Tony JJ

    @Hillbilly

    even if it was a two hour episode, in syndication they are always split up. Like when comedies do one hour episodes, when they air in syndication, they air split up and air in two different half hour blocks, same with one hour dramas.

  • The End

    Basically Episodes 1 + 2 are premiering on Sunday.

  • Bloody Type O !!!

    < 1.2 and 0.8 by the end of the season.

    They've already used the "family torn apart by war/conflict" trope and the "rebel factions hold the key to dividing and conquering the enemy" trope, which are two sure signs of a plot gone astray. The music is as repetitive as it is repetitive as it is repetitive as it is crap. And the only guy who can act is the dude who plays Pope. Which is Ironic because this show will need an ACT of God, a miracle, if it is to survive.
