Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

NOTE: All ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.  More information on ratings is available here.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

I really hope the TCD Flop this fall because i really think the CW made a really stupid decision to cancel Nikita! I really can’t believe that people watch TCD over Nikita! The CW made a wrong decision in season 2 by moving Nikita to Fridays! I think that it will have done well if it was paired with arrow! Lets Hope the Nikita ratings improve which should get us at least 13 episodes! Fingers crossed! I would recommend watching Nikita to any One out there, its really one of the BEST shows i have ever Watched! :) Just catch up on the CW website and be ready for the Last 6 Episodes! :)

Shark Tank repeat up. :) What Would You Do doing better than just about every other show is airing his summer except The Bachelorette.

  • John A

    Yawn what a wastland night.

  • John A

Supernatural did well with Arrow. The best Nikita would have gotten paired with it would be 0.5 in other words would have lost half the lead in.

  • josh2770

hawaii five-o is going to tank on friday’s ,shark tank will destroy it, plus it definitely lost most of it’s fan base in the second season so i believe that it will get a fourth season and then get canceled!

  • Jack

    @John A
I think that it will get a higher rating than 0.5! Nikita got 0.5 ratings this season on Fridays so i believe that it can score higher if it was paired with arrow or TVD!

  • bob

i love Rock Center, it’s a good show and now has a perfect time slot. it’s a very ‘smart’ show. they should not cancel it because lately it’s been on a steady ratings climb and is now more competitive than ever against 20/20

@Jack, dont bet on or hold your breath on Nikitas ratings improving in its final season, 90210Fringe,Chuck and Gossip Girls ratings didnt improve in thier final season expect for the series finale in all but 90210 case.Plus, Nikita has a history of dropping 50% of viewrs in between season and next season, the CW may be down as a whole again like it has been the past couple and plus even returning shows at midseason sruggle in ratings .Also, CW will not give Nikita more than 6 episodes. Its to wrap up and that can be done in 6 episodes.Theyve already said its six episodes, be grateful for them as ratings wise Nikita deserved cancellation after season two and season three if not seasone too.Further, why would they pair one of thier two lowest rated rated shows with a new show they were needing, expecting, hoping & parying to be a hit?Nikita was moved to fri for underperfoming on a regular weekday and with the networks best leadin. The so called fri factor is one reason Nikitas survived to see four seasons. As John A said, Nikita wouldve lost half or more of Arrows leadin and the Arrow/SpN pairing worked well.Nikita wouldve also had much tougher competion on Wed.Anyway, CW didnt pair Arrow/Nikita so quit whing and crying about it, whats done is done.I doubt Nikita wouldve done better paired with Arrow than it did on fri cause its serilzed, its in season three and dosent appear to have much of a loyal fanbase that would watch no matter what time, what night,no matter what other show it was up against the y watched, and it looses a good chunck of its audience every season.

  • Brandy

@Jack, it only got TWO of 0.5. Most of the time it averaged 0 3_0.4 and it even got THrEE 0.2!.In season one paired with VD, when CW was doing better as a network, it managed 0.6_0.8 for about the last half of season one, which was half or less of VDs leadin.

  • taylor

anyone shock nikita rerun getting the same demo as original but with less viewers?

  • John A

Nikita numbers look inflated. Probably will adjust down.

  • Patrick Ausgewahlt

Airing Dateline for three hours a week probably isn’t helping ratings. I also think they should have kept Rock Center. Good cheap filler

  • kimber

Agree with Josh2770 about Hawaii Five-O. The poor writing, overkill with boring guest stars, and poor show direction in season 2 really doomed this show to poor ratings. Wonder if the producers will have to cut the budget for this expensive show now that it’s on Fridays.

  • platypus Perry

Fans should be thankful that CW gave Nikita a final 6 episodes, however as a non-Nikita viewer I believe CW is ignorant for giving Carrie for 13 episodes while Nikita only gets 6! Carrie pulled similar numbers to Nikita and constantly hit below a million viewers with .3 and .4s on Monday Nights. It will only get worse when moved to Fridays. CW should’ve at least given Nikita 10 episodes when giving underachiever Carrie more.

  • david

I will miss Rock center too. I watch it every Friday night.

  • The End

CBSviewer. Did you see? Hawaii 5-o repeats quite well, looks like we may be right about the shows chances on Friday.

  • Tom

“CW is ignorant for giving Carrie for 13 episodes while Nikita only gets 6….”

Hardly. Nikita has enough episodes for syndication. For last season, it averaged a whopping 3.0 demo. So, wrapping it up with a final six episodes makes sense. Carrie is only around because the network needed something to fill the gaps in its schedule. Scheduling Carrie on Fridays pretty clearly indicates that the network isn’t relying on it for ratings. BTW, none of this is news. It’s been discussed here before. So, try and keep up.

  • Joseph

I wasn’t near a TV set between 10 and 11 P.M. EDT, so I’m wondering if either “Rock Center” or “20/20″ had a a segment on the shooting massacre in Santa Monica, California earlier that day.

  • beached

Why does anyone care about the CW? I don’t know anyone who has ever seen a CW show. I doubt anyone here who comments about the CW has either.

  • Tom

    @ beached

    Stop trolling.
