Telemundo's 'La Voz Kids' Ratings June 9 Averages Over 2.4 Million Viewers, Up 43 Percent Versus Premiere

TELEMUNDO’S LA VOZ KIDS CONTINUES STRONG MOMENTUM ON SUNDAY NIGHT AVERAGING OVER 2,400,000 TOTAL VIEWERS, +43% VS. PREMIERE

MIAMI – June 10, 2013 – Sunday’s broadcast of Telemundo’s La Voz Kids continues its strong momentum averaging 2,431,000 total viewers, +43% vs. premiere and 1,297,000 adults 18 to 49, +49% vs. premiere, according to Nielsen.  Hosted by TV personality Daisy Fuentes and entertainment host Jorge Bernal, and featuring expert celebrity music coaches Paulina Rubio, Prince Royce and Roberto Tapia, the singing competition was on par in total audience vs. prior week (2,431,000 vs. 2,420,000) and +6% in adults 18 to 49 vs. prior week (1,297,000 vs. 1,225,000).

La Voz Kids was the top-rated Spanish language television program in New York, Miami, Houston and Phoenix and outperformed English Language stations in Los Angeles (ABC, FOX, CW), Miami (FOX, CBS, CW), New York (FOX, CW), Dallas (CW) and Chicago (CW).

    You will be suprised how well the format is actually. If the german version is anything to go by, then you have a set of talented kids taking the stage.
    And given the naturing concept of The Voice when it comes to talent, you have parents allowing their spawns to the show knowing they will get superstar support.

    A real feel-good show! No suprises about the ratings.
    But just like the mothership – ratings started falling as the end approached.

    Could this be a good sign for The X Factor USA? It certainly can’t hurt that Paulina’s current show is doing well.

    Most of those kids have more talent than most of those people who call themselve artists. So dont worry you dont have to jump from anywhere Apple whatever
