ABC Number 1 Among Adults 18-49 & With Total Viewers in Week 37 Ending June 9, 2013

In week 37 of the broadcast television season ending Sunday, June 9, 2013, ABC took first place among adults 18-49 with a 2.0 rating average. NBC was second with a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating.  FOX took third with a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating average. CBS was fourth,with a 1.0 adults 18-49 rating. The CW finished fifth among English networks with a 0.3 adults 18-49 rating average.

ABC won the week with total viewers, with 6.01 million viewers, ahead of second place CBS with 5.92 million viewers. NBC was third with 5.59 million. FOX was fourth with 3.27 million followed by  the CW with 0.75 million.

Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.265 million adults 18-49.

    I read on another site that deals with ratings trends over some years, It claimed that even with a higher population that viewership over the past ten years (cable included) is seeing a steady market drop off. You’d figure with all the ways to view now, Ipods, Cell phones, Tablets etc. it would be the opposite.

    With Time Warner which we have now, we can watch live via cell, Tablets, Computers, by simply signing in our account. If that article was true, this may not be a good trend for the network’s. Although my cell phone TWCTV app stays on ESPN anyway :-)
