Telemundo beat Univision to become the number one Spanish-language broadcast network on Sunday night among adults 18-49 and adults 18-34, out-performing Univision for the first time, with regular programming, since 2/20/11.

 

“La Voz Kids” on Sunday night continued its weekly growth trend, delivering more adults 18-49 (1,297,000) and total viewers (2,431,000) than ever before.  In head-to-head competition at 8pm, “La Voz Kids” beat Univision’s “Parodiando” by +15% in adults 18-49 and +45% in adults 18-34.

  • In general market prime (Mon-Sat 8-11p, Sun 7-11p) Telemundo ranked as the #6 network among Adults 18-49 and #5 among Adults 18-34 (out-delivering CBS).
  • With novella “La Patrona” and coverage of two “Rumbo al Mundial” soccer games, Telemundo ranked #5 among Adults 18-34, Women 18-34 and Men 18-34 in the M-F 9pm hour for the week, out-delivering CBS.
  • At 10pm, with novella “El Senor de los Cielos” and coverage of two “Rumbo al Mundial” soccer games, Telemundo was the #2 network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34, Men 18-34 and Men 18-49, behind only ABC.  Additionally, Telemundo ranked #3 in the hour among Adults 18-49, out-delivering Univision and CBS.
  • On Sunday night, Telemundo was the #1 Spanish-language broadcast network in Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, out-performing Univision by +5% and +33%, respectively.
  • “La Voz Kids” on Sunday night continued its weekly growth trend, delivering more Adults 18-49 (1,297,000) and Total Viewers 2+ (2,431,000) than ever before.  Against all broadcast in its time period, “La Voz Kids” ranked #4 in Adults 18-49 and #3 in Adults 18-34.  In head-to-head competition at 8pm, “La Voz Kids” beat Univision’s “Parodiando” by +15% in Adults 18-49 and +45% in Adults 18-34.

  • On Monday night, Telemundo beat FOX, ranking as the #5 network among Adults 18-49 and beat CBS to rank #5 among Adults 18-34.
  • “EL Señor de los Cielos” ranked among the top 5 among M18-49 and M18-34,  and ranked among top 10 in A18-34 and W18-34. The novela beat CBS’s “Hawaii Five-O” head-to-head in A18-49, W18-34 and A18-34; it also beat ABC in A18-34, and was the #1 SLTV program at 10pm among M18-49 and M18-34.
  • “La Patrona” beat FOX’s “Anger Management”/”New Girl” in A18-49, W18-49 and W18-34; it also beat CBS’s “2 Broke Girls”/”Mike & Molly” in A18-34 and W18-34.

 

Tuesday, June 4, 2013

  • On Tuesday night, Telemundo ranked as the #6 network among Adults 18-49 and beat CBS and ABC to rank #4 among Adults 18-34.
  • Telemundo’s live Rumbo al Mundial World Cup qualifying soccer match:  Jamaica vs. Mexico ranked as the #3 program in M18-49 and M18-34.  It also ranked in the top 10 in A18-49, A18-34 and W18-34.
    • The Rumbo game was the #1 sporting event on television, broadcast or cable regardless of language, beating NHL Conference Finals in A18-49.
    • In the 9pm hour, “Rumbo al Mundial” was the #2 program in Men 18-49 among all broadcast networks and beat Univision’s “Amores Verdaderos,” Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance” and CBS’s “NCIS:L os Angeles.”

  • On Wednesday night, Telemundo ranked as the #6 network among Adults 18-49 and ranked #4 beating CBS among Adults 18-34.

  • Telemundo’s Rumbo al Mundial game: Panama vs. Mexico averaged 1,517,000 A18-49, 2,563,000 total viewers and 701,000 A18-34.
    • Was the #1 program on television, broadcast or cable regardless of language, on Friday night among Men 18-49 (976K) and Men 18-34 (456K).
    • Among Adults 18-49, was the #1 sporting event on television, broadcast or cable regardless of language.
