'The Winner Is' Ranks as Top Summer 2013 Broadcast Series Debut

n  NBC wins the night with a 2.8 rating/8 share in the 18-49 demo.

n  NBC draws the biggest audience for the night with 9.89 million viewers overall.

n  “The Voice” (8-10 p.m.) is the No. 1 show for the night with a 3.2/10, which is even with a week ago.

n  “The Voice” was also No. 1 in the 18-34 and 25-54 demos.

n  “The Voice” was also No. 1 in total viewers (11.54 million) for the night.

n  “The Voice” increased in each half-hour for the demo over the two-hour telecast.

n  The sneak preview of “The Winner Is” (10-11 p.m.) drew a healthy 1.9/6 and 6.59 million viewers overall.

n  “The Winner Is” was also No. 1 in the 18-34 and 25-54 demos.

In A18-49 (1.9), “The Winner Is” preview ranks as:

  • Top summer 2013 series debut so far on any broadcast net
  • Top summer debut on any network since Fox’s “Hotel Hell” (Monday 8/13/12 8-9pm, also a 1.9).
  • NBC's best summer launch since “American Ninja Warrior” first full season on Monday, 5/21/12

 

In total viewers (6.594 million), “The Winner Is” ranks as:

  • Top summer 2013 series debut so far on any broadcast net
  • NBC's best summer launch since “It’s Worth What?” on Tuesday, 7/19/11
