On NBC, The Voice scored a 3.2 down 3 percent from last week's 3.3 adults 18-49 rating. Your predictions were far too pessimistic.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday night:

Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

I figured Mistresses would rise cause its been buzzing since the premiere and lasts nights episode was much better than the premiere. Wouldn’t be surprised to see it rise again next week. I hope this show sticks around

  • Nea

The second episode of MISTRESSES was MUCH better than its pilot.

  • FLOP Detector

The Voice will FLOP hard against NBA

  • Jay

The Winner is, is like The Voice meets Deal or No Deal. Surprisingly entertaining. Not amazing or groundbreaking but I gave it 15 minutes and ended up watching it all. Hopefully it will adjust up to a 2.0.

  • r0ckmypants

I couldn’t even make it halfway through the pilot, so I’m surprised Mistresses rose, especially with The Winner Is doing better than most expected.

  • Sergio

FLOP Detector, the voice cannot be a FLOP after 4 seasons….

  • brian

Nice numbers for The Winner Is. I can see NBC going back to it in the future if the numbers hold.

Mistresses have a nice rise for week 2. Maybe ABC has found something with this show?

  • sally

I tried to watch THE WINNER IS and I couldn’t stand the singers

  • Sergio

I watched the winner is and really liked it!!! so much better than expected!

  • John A

Anyone else sick of ‘Flop Detector’

  • Jonathan

Yes!!! So glad Mistresses rose! I was really hoping it would! I’m obsessed already! The best new show in years!

  • rob60990

Mistresses rose? Wow. Still not a great rating but better than dropping.

  • Sergio

I’m tired of the voice and the country it has this season I’m done…

  • KevinSW

After watching Devious Maids and Mistresses, I liked Devious Maids much much more than Mistresses, actually the pairing of the two would have been ideal. Gonna watch the second episode of Mistresses, hope it’s good!

  • BigBrotherFan

Love the fact Mistresses rose..Nothing better than hot older chicks that aren’t ancient like that Hag Dana Deleny

  • Jacobo

    Half hours please?

  • rob60990

Before anyone gets excited over The Winner Is remember the Howie Mandel game show and how much that tanked when it aired with no lead in support.

  • ATXCountry

@Flop Detector – the Game does not begin until 9pm….the Voice airs from 8-9pm – one will not affect the other.

And I second Sergio, a show does not “Flop” in its fourth season.

  • DenverDean

@FLOPDetector – The Voice does NOT air against NBA Finals in E/C, so no it’s won’t be impacted much.

  • THE OLD MAN

The Winner Is 1.9 after the Voice–who wooda thought

Raising Hope best of the FOX lineup (YAY)
