“Friends” will also be part of the Summer of Sitcoms Marathons, a four-nights-per-week extravaganza every Thursday through Sunday at 10pm ET/PT beginning June 20th. TV Land has Doug and Carrie heading up Thursday on “King of Queens,” a super “Friends” Friday, Ray and his crazy (but loveable) family on “Everybody Loves Raymond” on Saturday, and your favorite seniors on “The Golden Girls” on Sunday.
“Friends” is the hit NBC comedy that aired for 10 seasons from 1994-2004 and followed close friends Monica (Courteney Cox), Chandler (Matthew Perry), Joey (Matt LeBlanc), Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow), Ross (David Schwimmer) and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) as they navigated their 20s and 30s in the most hilarious way possible. Through the ups and downs in love, work and everyday life, the group found the comedy in every absurd situation.

I have seen every episode a million times, own the whole series on DVD, it’s played a hundred times day, but I still don’t mind that it will be played more on TV Land now! That’s so great this show is! BEST SHOW EVER.

  • Tony JJ

That’s HOW*** great this show is!

This show is entertaining but I never thought it was great (less a few episodes). I will say that TVLAND is smart having 4 nights of comedies…each different yet good.

Friends is a good stable show, King of Queens while ignored for so long by many (including myself) I find hysterical…I’m even DVR’ing the shows. Raymond never excited me but when I watch the show it is consistantly funny and well balanced (probably the best of this lot to be honest). The Golden Girls was great but I’ve seen them to much so I’m iffy on it, but the show was hilarious in its day

BTW, concerning the picture above, doesn’t it look like Monica and Rachel have the exact same hair (just different color)? I never notice this but it kind of reminds me of a before and after take….before: Monica, after: Rachel haha

    YES!!! Cannot wait :D

  • Juan

I still watch rerun almost every day

  • SVU: Hannibal

As long at TVLand doesn’t replace the King of Queens late night runs, I can continue to ignore this show like I do when it comes on Nick @ Nite, TBS and my local ABC/CW stations.

    Ross is such a wuss.

Aren’t re-runs on like 5 other channels too

I have Dish Network and the picture quality of TV Land is HORRIBLE. I have requested several times that they carry the HD feed of the channel, but to no avail. Considering the fact that Friends has been remastered in HD and airs that way on TBS, I highly doubt I will ever bother watching it on TV Land.

Friends? Really? That show is on 24 hours a day on at least 3 other channels. Not to mention it sucks.
