John Stamos (@JohnStamos) who recently joined USA Network’s critically acclaimed hit series Necessary Roughness, will tweet live with fans and some of his fellow cast members at 10/9c during the east coast season premiere on Wednesday, June 11. Stamos, who has over 1 million followers,  will be joined by Mehcad Brooks (@MehcadBrooks), Scott Cohen (@Scott Cohen), Karissa Lee (@Karissaleelee) and the show’s production team (@NRseason3).  In his reoccurring guest role, Stamos plays Connor McClane, the head of a powerful sports entertainment agency that is trying to lure Dr. Dani to join their expanding team.
Viewers will have the opportunity to ask Stamos about his new role this season and chat with the other cast members about this year’s exciting new storyline. Fans can follow the conversation via Twitter #NECESSARYROUGHNESS or on usanetwork.com. They can also engage with a fun second screen sync experience, which provides them with bonus content – including interesting facts and tidbits about the series, as well as the ability to connect with other fans, at sync.usanetwork.com via their computer or mobile devices.
Season three picks up six months after the New York Hawks playoff run at the end of season two. Big changes at the team force Dani (Golden Globe®-nominee Callie Thorne), TK (Mehcad Brooks) and Matt (Marc Blucas) to reconsider their futures with the franchise.  After Dani’s success with TK and the New York Hawks, a powerful sports and entertainment management agency run by the seductive Connor McClane (Stamos) and the take-no-prisoners Troy Cutler (David Anders) makes her a promising offer to join The Firm.  The new job could to launch Dani to the next professional level – but at what cost? Helping Dani to balance her work and personal life is new assistant Paloma (Karissa Staples). TK struggles under the reign of a new coach. After a long absence, Nico (Scott Cohen) resurfaces in a surprising place, complicating life for Dani.
Created and executive produced by Liz Kruger & Craig Shapiro ("Miami Medical"). Kevin Dowling ("Go On") also serves as executive producer.  Inspired by a true story, Necessary Roughness is a Sony Pictures Television and Universal Cable Productions co-production.
