Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

NOTE: All ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.  More information on ratings is available here.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

  • Joe.

Everyone must have been seeing ”Man of Steel” last night. Poor ratings all around.

  • The End

No, these numbers are normal while no new episodes of semi popular shows are being aired.

  • peter

Blue Bloods beating Hawaii 5-0 despite a weaker lead-in doesn’t bode well for H50.

  • rob60990

Wheres the person who said Rock Center can compete with 20/20? It cant. The show only does halfway decent with a stronger Dateline as its lead in.

What Would You Do is holding up steady.

  • Dave

I don’t see Hawaii making it past season 5 at this point. I think it’s CBS youngest skewing procedural and being on Friday won’t help it one bit.

  • LisaM

Are they moving H 5-0 to Fridays next season? I thought this was just scheduling laziness on the network’s part, show a rerun.

  • Mike

BB will beat H50 next season , even if it is airing at 10 pm. More embarrassment for H50

  • sally

I watch both Hawaii 50 and Blue Bloods but i miss CSI NY

  • rob60990

Lisa yes it was announced last month on CBS schedule.

  • John A

Not many want to watch a repeat of The Following. Just repeat Kitchen Nightmares Fox.

  • CBSviewer

Why everyone here is so pessimistic about Hawaii Five-0 ? Repeat numbers doesn’t mean anything. Yes Blue Bloods beat Hawaii Five-0 and then what ? It got 1.46 million more viewers and 126,000 of them were 18-49. Nothing strange here. The problem is that Blue Bloods is one of the oldest skewing Show on CBS and I’m pretty sure H50 will give it a boost (Remember 1.1 for the Season Finale ?).

  • The End

I know, it’s strange that people are doing that. It’s almost as pointless as Bones fans saying they repeat better than The Following ;)

5-0 is going to do great on Friday Nights – can’t wait for new episodes of both 5-0 and Blue Bloods, a great combination !

  • Grace

5-0 is not going to do great on Friday nights, the show skews old, a 1.8/1.9 on Monday will translate into terrible numbers on Friday.Shark Tank and Grimm will beat it. And BB will do better and gain numbers after it. CBS will keep BB and cancel 5-0 because BB will do better , because it is a cheaper show filmed in Toronto , because of Tom Selleck and because it is doing 100 times better internationally than 5-0.

  • mike

schocked that re-runs continue to rule

  • The End

@5-0 is not going to do great on Friday nights, the show skews old, a 1.8/1.9 on Monday will translate into terrible numbers on Friday

Nonsense. Lots of CBS shows skew old, there’s nothing to say this show won’t find an audience on Friday even. Until we’ve seen this show premiere new episodes, it’s a little premature to claim it’l do badly.

  • Tom

Grace… First BB is shot in New York. And second… Five-0 is a massive hit internationally. MUCH BIGGER than BB. Where are you getting your misinformation? Castle fans?

  • The End

More a case of someone skewing their own personal opinion of the show with how they perceive the ratings. It’s an easy mistake to make, but personally its best to judge a show on how well it performs live when giving an opinion, basically stay neutral lol

  • Grace

BB pilot and S1 was filmed in Toronto and it was going to go back there, then NY promised Blue Bloods would get its tax credit and that it would be retroactive to the start of production . It is cheaper to produce than 5-0.

“Five-0 is a massive hit internationally”. No true. It has been canceled once in Australia and is a mediocre performer in Europe. You can check on BARB UK the numbers for UK, one of the strongest European TV markets, all shows, including , Arrow, Elementary, Following , beat 5-0. Go and check.

  • The End

@It is cheaper to produce than 5-0.

And rates lower overall than Five-O too.
