The Goodwin Games is a winner. Great cast, well-written – how often do you see that? How the heck did this gem get lost in the shuffle?

I agree. I LOVE that show.

CBS’s comedies are getting long in the tooth, so they tried to debut as many new comedies as possible. HIMYM is officially ending this season, meaning that they have only 4 returining sitcoms remaining, including TAAHM, which is entering its 11th season. Also, NBC was competitive with comedies in the 9pm Thursday time slot, but with “The Office” ending, they may have seen an opening.

“Mike & Molly” was CBS’s 5th highest rated sitcom last season, so it will begin this season as the odd man out. I expect it to return, but I hope it doesn’t take over the “middle relief” role that “Rules of Engagement” once held. Unlike ROE, I think that M&M will have a lot of life left in it even after the baby is born, but it may have to contend with Melissa McCarthy’s budding film career.
