COPPER, returns Sunday, June 23rd at 10pm for a second season. From the brilliant minds of Emmy®-winner Tom Fontana and Academy Award®-winner Barry Levinson, BBC AMERICA’s highest rated original drama goes back to the unforgiving city that knows no limits.  Donal Logue (Sons of Anarchy, Max Payne), Alfre Woodard (Twelve Years a Slave, Steel Magnolias) William “Billy” Baldwin (Gossip Girl, Hawaii Five-O), Eamonn Walker (Chicago Fire, Oz), Lee Tergesen (The Big C, Oz) and Andrew Howard (Hatfield & McCoys, The Hangover) join the cast for the second season. Returning cast includes Tom Weston-Jones, (World Without End, MI-5), Kyle Schmid (Arrow, Being Human), Anastasia Griffith (Once Upon a Time, Damages) Franka Potente (American Horror Story, The Bourne Supremacy), Ato Essandoh (Django Unchained, Elementary), Kevin Ryan (Tripping Tommy, RAW), Dylan Taylor (Covert Affairs, Charlie Bartlett), Kiara Glasco (Haven, I’ll Follow You Down) and Tessa Thompson (For Colored Girls, Veronica Mars).

    I really enjoyed this show. Sad to see it is not getting much attention, I’ll be surprised if it gets a third season. I hope it does.

    Has anyone seen audience ratings yet for Copper’s second season, 2013? Last year BBC America could not stop hyping the series’ “record breaking” numbers, but this year total silence. A sign that it will not be renewed for Season 3?
