During the week of June 10, 2013, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live shot up over the prior week by 28% among Adults 18-49 to deliver its best performance yet in its new 11:35pm time slot. In fact, this week was JKL’s strongest week in nearly 10 years in the key young adult demo – since w/o 11/24/03. JKL grew over the year-ago week (which also consisted of 2 original and 3 repeat telecasts) by 15% among Adults 18-49, marking its 23rd straight week of year-over-year growth. Tuesday’s telecast of JKL (on 6/11/13), which featured guests Lil Wayne, Chris Messina and Jimmy Eat World, was a series high for a regular telecast among Adults 18-49. ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live was the week’s #1 talk show in late-night in Adults 18-34, beating runner-up NBC’s The with Jay Leno by 16%.
