Ha, the NBA Finals couldn’t even match the season nine premiere of Two and a Half Men (10.7)! ;-)

    Go Hannibal ;)

    Hell’s Kitchen did really well.

Fantastic ratings for final game. Too bad for ABC the rest of the summer is probably going to be pretty bad.

  • Billy

Hell’s Kitchen wasn’t affected by the NBA, because it is female skewing, and yes, the 8:00 shows do air against the game in the Pacific and Mountain time zones.

  • k:Alex

NBC could better repeat Friends, the ratings of Nick At Night are higher or even as The Office or Parks.

  • MichaelChickless

Hey, a 0.8 for Hannibal just like I predicted!! :-)

I’m excited for many more seasons of this show. ;-)

  • kbmv

Very impressive ratings for game 6 and 7. Overall avg of 17.4 mil for the series. Wow! That’s great because we know about the Spurs history and ratings(or lack there of).

  • NBC Fan

    Hell’s Kitchen did well.

Like the Voice, Hannibal’s finale was somewhat unfazed by the NBA Finals.

Great ratings for the NBA Finals, but like Melissa said, we’ve seen bigger numbers from other things.

  • Oliver

Let’s hope NBC finds Hannibal a slightly less awful timeslot next season.

  • Ultima

NBC could better repeat Friends, the ratings of Nick At Night are higher or even as The Office or Parks.

NBC woul have to pay for Friends in order to air it, which would likely nullify (or worse) any of the ratings gains.

Thank you for that totally arbitrary comparison.

  • Jon

Looks like NBC jumped the gun renewing Hannibal. 0.8 and 1.98 mill total viewers. How embarrassing is that.

  • Mr Mikey

So college football is more popular than the NBA.

  • forg

Awesome NBA ratings. Too bad ABC will now go back to their sucky summer ratings from hereon. At least they had this to promote their new shows

  • John A

Yeah great for Hannibal matching a Elementary Repeat is so great.

    @mr mikey

Yes college football is slightly more popular than the nba. But the athletes are not nearly as famous. Again, nobody knows any college football players outside the U.S. or star nfl players are unheard of outside the states. Who knows Tom Brady or Peyton Manning really? But in many countries they know who Kobe and Lebron are.

Ranking popularity in the U.S. overall:

    1 nfl
    2 college football
    3 nba
    4 mlb
    5 college basketball
    6 nascar
    7 nhl

  • Igwell

Yeah great for Hannibal matching a Elementary Repeat is so great.

That’s not fair — comparing NBC to a real network!

  • harry

Seems like Scandal will have a very easy year in ratings versus hannibal and elementary…

  • Cannibal

We have not idea how much the show cost to NBC so unless NBC is losing money because of Hannibal I don’t see why NBC should be embarrassed. It has the best tv-show on network television since Twin Peaks.
