  • Josh

They should bring Hannibal to BBC or AMC, two perfect places to put it!

  • ccemerson

Will they/have they aired the episode of Hannibal that got pulled ??? Episode 3 I think ?? Thanks

  • Potato

… it’s the middle of the summer. And Hannibal has only lost 3 tenths. Has everyone lost their minds? Summer is a graveyard!

  • Josh

No they have not aired it on NBC, but if you Google it you might be able to find it!

  • Lesley

0.8 demo, 1,9 million must be the lowest rated finale for any drama on a network?

Harrys Law fans, and Kathy Bates in particular, muct be fuming that Hannibal gets such favouritism to be renewed on that level of performance.

  • Josh

  • Eddie

Harry’s Law cost NBC three and a half times what Hannibal costs them. It did not get three and a half times the demo rating Hannibal gets.

  • Lesley

It did on total numbers,…and also got the critical acclaim.
Plus it was reasonable in its ratings value.
Just as crazy to lose that show as it was the renew Hannibal.
Perhaps it was just mainly women watching it though….not the hallowed men in young age group, the ones advertisers want despite the fact its mainly women buying the stuff they advertise!

  • Alienware

Would’ve been a 12.0 and 30 MIL flat if it was Heat vs Lakers.

  • Tessa

Not everything has to do with sexism. Enough women watch Hannibal. The difference is that a lot of them blog, tweet, chat and post comments about it, much much more than HL where people watched and then went to bed. As strange as it may sound having an active fandom and a presence in the social media does count for something in this day and age.

  • Lesley

Tessa, not enough of any gender watch Hannibal! 1.9million is not even a cohort.

    1) there it is again, that snobbery about who is watching it, that they are somehow better than other fans of other shows who dont have brains to stay awake and discuss. Actually they do. there was much discussion about harrys law after an episode on sites, and on this site also.

    2) Fandom has nothing to do with anything.Check out all those active fandoms who campaign in various ways to “save their show”, and who fail to save it.

3)Its well known there is active intention to court the young male viewer in the demos. Thats been stated on this site and others.

  • Red Jane

Go Hannibal! Considering the leads he’s been getting, I would say the ratings are not so bad (esp. as this is NBC after all…)

  • yoyo

  • Igwell

Someone said Harry’s Law had critical acclaim. :o

  • Mario

Hannibal is probably one of the best shows to ever air on Network TV. Yet it get’s terrible ratings. That’s the American public for you ;) They’d rather watch the *rigged* NBA finals…

  • Torrid

Hey Mario — how’s that Stanley Cup playoff going for you? Do u think this is the year your hockey will beat Basketball? :)

  • yoyo

  • Johnson

Torrid loves rubbing it in their faces lol

  • Kate

Hannibal was the best show no one is watching and I’m so glad that NBC stood behind the show and gave it a 2nd season. I really hope it gets some Emmy nods this year. By far the best cinematography and tight, gripping storytelling on TV at the moment.

  • Wright

    Hannibal deserves way better!!!!
