Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

NOTE: All ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.

Definitions:

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.  More information on ratings is available here.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Even if Nikita/SuperNaturaL get a 0.2 for some reason like baseball airing in the NY Market, I’ve been very surprised by the Friday repeat ratings.

Nikita has consistently .3s and some .2 which is surprising considering the ratings for original airings. SuperNaturaL is doing great repeating on Wednesdays and Fridays!!!

Isn’t the Cult burn off going to begin airing on fridays at both 8 and 9. It will be lucky to pull repeat numbers of these shows. Not to mention when Carrie scoring 0.1 on Mondays. I can imagine what Carrie will pull on Friday Nights.

While Nikita fans should be thankful for any renewal the least CW should have done was air split seasons of 10 episodes each with carrie airing in fall and Nikita in spring, I doubt CW will see these repeat numbers and change their mind though.

How dare you post half hour ratings in the summer and for Friday and you couldn’t do that in the regular season. I’m angry at you tvbythenumbers!

  • TVMAN

The Following never repeated that well to begin with. It’s a show you kinda have to follow each episode, so doesn’t make sense for people to invest their Fridays following an old show they probely would’ve watched earlier if it interested them.

  • TVMAN

That being said… The Following was my favorite new show of the 2012/2013 season!

I just followed some Baseball last night and did some streaming , BUT , one thing I did learn recently is that for those persons that seek Investment Via Shark Tank , they need to give up 5% of their ownership to the show just for the ability to make a pitch ,

  • The End

    @TVMAN

The ending was utterly insane. What other show out there ends with their lead character stabbed? I’m still wondering if they will put remnants of Joe Carrolls cult in the next season. Certainly I can’t imagine Ryan Hardy being pleased about someone trying to murder him, the moment he’s back on his feet he’ll be after her.

    @ The End

Maybe Joe Caroll is not dead…

    Go H50!

I can remember Jack Bauer being in various states of repair, at the end of several seasons of 24. And I think he died twice on the show!
