  • Charmed

I have to wait until October 25 for TCD, that sucks :(

  • Dillan

October 25th for TCD? So late. Are The CW trying to kill this show?

  • Jamie

    @Charmed, Dillan

Are you guys serious? You’re lucky to have it in the fall at all!

  • alim

you cant lie cw has the best lead out for their weak shows, i love how they spread it out.

  • Linda

I thought September is when everything premieres

  • CBSviewer

Supernatural and The Originals premiere is on October 15 :( Why ?

  • Charmed

TCD must be coming back for a few weeks at midseason if it’s that late and for 13 episodes. Ether that or they will have doubles some weeks.

  • Ekras

All this is in October….what happened to September? There’s already too long a gap in the network schedules after the summer season ends – this adds like 3-4 extra weeks of nothingness…..

  • Michael

We’ll see how many hit shows (CW standards) can score this FALL!

  • Oliver

Late premieres again this year, I see.

No surprise about Carrie being delayed. The CW will use Fridays to repeat their series premieres.

No hints about where Nikita will premiere.

I can see The CW changes this schedule if Whose Line turns out to be a hit.

  • platypus Perry

The Carrie Diaries is dead on arrival no matter where or when you air this show. No hate on this Show as I’ve Never watched it, but the numbers that represent Carrie indicate that it will not go beyond season Two. Hell, even ABC FAMILY wouldn’t have renewed it.

I wonder what dates CW are expecting to premiere the two other New shows Hundred and Oxygen or star crossed(I prefer Oxygen but Whatever). Not to forget Nikita as well as when this series mini season wrap up will occur?

Has anyone else heard about when the unscripted show The Hunt is airing in the summer? I might check this out and determine if it is worth sticking around for.

  • Dan

@Ekras – A lot of CW’s summer shows will run into September plus instead of starting early and having repeats, CW can essentially run repeat free Oct-Dec.

Smart schedule but why so late for Carrie Diaries?

  • steven

Since the CW is the lowest rated network channel, they like to wait until all the other network channels premiere their shows.

  • Oliver

I imagine it’s about reducing the number of poorly-rated in-season repeats.

  • John A

Why not start the originals and Spn on October 8th? Otherwise not a bad schedule.

  • Jennifer

The CW is actually smart in not premiering during September like all the other Network shows. Thus, the CW does not have to compete with other network premiers and can catch a good audience share on all CW shows for October. November is Sweeps month and CW programming is still fresh for the November Sweeps. Yes it sucks to wait…but…while other shows are over for the season, we have another month to enjoy our favs from the CW, like for me ,SUPERNATURAL!!!!

  • Greg

Late premieres don’t kill shows. Long in-season hiatus and bad timeslots do.

  • Dan

@Oliver – Actually that makes sense, Friday Oct 11 will likely have The Tomorrow People’s pilot reran and Friday Oct 25 will probably have The Originals Pilot rerun.

My guess is when Carrie Diaries inevitably flops, it will end its 13 episode order in January or February and Nikita will inherit the slot.

  • Oliver

    @John A

I can only speculate, but I imagine it’s so they can promote The Originals premiere on TVD. I’d guess they’ll reair The Originals backdoor pilot on premiere week for new viewers.
