Next week is going to be so interesting for UTD. Does it stay steady, somehow grow, or drop? Let’s face it, even half of those numbers would be a hit for the summer but I want to see if it can hold.

  • Ultima

    GO HAWKS!!! :D

  • robin

amazing for under the dome just finished watching it

  • rob60990

    Season high for The Bachelorette.

  • DryedMangoez

Wow, awesome to see great numbers for the Stanley Cup.
And looking forward to checking out Under The Dome later. I hope for its success so other networks will be encouraged to do more event style miniseries, even for Summer.

  • EatMorePez

If Under the Dome drops a few tenths next week (or even 7 or 8 tenths), I expect all of the people who predicted the premiere would get less than 2.0 will try to claim vindication.

  • Nathan

    Was UTD good?

That is what ridicule is for! ;)

  • NBC Fan

WOW! Incredible ratings for Under the Dome. Hockey did well too.

  • MichaelChickless

Holy shiznit for Under The Dome! It’ll be very interesting to see what it gets next week.

  • Jeremy

Under the Dome was surprisingly good.

  • jj

Ok numbers for hockey. But it’s not growing at all. They just had the most attractive teams in it. Wake me up when it can average 10 million. Not game 7, but average. Then i would consider it a legit league.

  • jj

    Which will never happen.

  • Max Vrany

@jj, since when is almost double from last year and NBC’second highest NHL game ever not growing?

  • Ben Thompson

Great numbers for the finals this year, and to think NBC was 76 seconds away from getting a game 7.

  • jj

Sorry but 5.8 million viewers on avg for a long series with two of your very best fanbases is mediocre. Soccer will probably grow faster in this country before hockey does. Latin population keeps growing in the U.S. Canadians don’t even have kids. Lol they’re gonna die out. Haha

  • Josh

Under The Dome is already making back the majority of it’s production costs because of the deal with Amazon Prime and the North Carolina tax credits. These monstrous numbers are only icing on the cake for CBS.

  • jj

    @max vrany

So the stanley cup ratings went from horrible(last year) to just bad(this year). Gotcha.

  • gigi

Following the summer not-CBS-like show that Under the Dome is, the network will go off-brand again in fall with The Crazy Ones and, especially, Hostages. Will those pay off as well? :)

  • Michael

I surely thought after The Voice ending, no other show can go above a 3.3 for the summer. Good for UTD!
