Will 'Cult' Garner Even Lower Ratings In Its Summer Burn-Off? - Poll

Cult returns tonight with two back-to-back episodes for its summer burn-off. It was the rare scripted show pulled from the CW before all of its episodes aired, after being exiled from its original Tuesday at 9PM timeslot to Friday nights. The very meta supernatural thriller may have just been too strange and complicated for its own good. Its most recent episode on Friday, April 5 earned a paltry 0.2 adults 18-49 rating. Could it go even lower tonight? Or will it miraculously benefit from being the only original scripted programming on broadcast television? Make your predictions.

I stopped watch this show after 1st episode. I would predict 0.1 to 0.2 rating and no more than 0.2, but I would be surprised if the rating hit 0

They got 0.1 for both episodes. LMAO.

With next Friday (July 5th) being the middle of the four-day July 4th weekend (when many people won’t be watching TV), not to mention that most of the nation will be on vacation all week (or beginning on the afternoon of the 3rd and continuing through July 14th), and given “Cult”‘s 1.1 last night (June 28th), I’m beginning to think that one of next week’s two episodes could hit a 0.0 in the 18-49 demo.

I would think to do that, the show would have to attract no more than about 300,000 viewers.

Given the low viewership levels that will exist, there’s a good chance “Cult” will achieve that infamous number………..unless our own Cancellation Bear decides to interrupt his Summer vacation in the North Woods and put the show out of it’s misery.
