  • NBC is awesome

So one episode a day starting the 16th?

ww, the shows are still being produced by the Online Network and showing on Hulu. OWN is rebroadcasting them. Basically, OWN is the cable alternative.

The soaps are going up against The Chew. Let’s teach ABC a lesson.

I have always thought Oprah should’ve took both shows to her Network, the shows would have at least 2M viewers a day.

    The Chew will win.

They’re also going up against GH on that first day. I’m surprised that ABC did not put a non-compete clause in the contract with Prospect Park, but that’s ABC for you.

I’m really curious to see how they’ll do on OWN. Once they’re up and running, I wouldn’t see 1 million viewers a day as out of the question, considering that they did 500,000+ on SoapNet and that was for repeats. These are repeats too, of course, but the audience for online originals is a fraction of what they used to draw on ABC.

OWN really needs to advertize on GH, but I doubt that will happen.

I watch AMC and OLTL everyday on Hulu Plus, but would love to watch them on network TV too. The problem as always is that they are on in the afternoon. I wish they could be shown at 7 and 7:30 at night. Oh well best of luck to OWN and AMC and OLTL.

I’m so excited! I just wish Oprah would have been smarter & bought the rights to air them from the start. Her network wouldn’t have been in so much trouble because we are all such loyal viewers & people in general that watch soaps-we all stick together!! Lol!! Also, I now need to catch up from day one & it doesn’t sound like she is going to air all the episodes for us viewers that have never been able to watch even one episode yet-I do all my Internet work on my phone& it takes too long on the iPhone to bring up tv shows. I’ve watched both shows since they debuted-I’m now 45, so I can’t wait for the OWN premiere. Thank you Madame Oprah for your best television programming choice since taking control of OWN–yay!!!
