Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Man, I like Whodunnit? I’d hoped the ratings would be better.

  • Jt

I have been a huge fans of BB from day one but this year i am really turned off in big part due to the cast.

  • Patrick Ausgewahlt

I bet none of the cast of Big Brother have even read George Orwell’s novel Nineteen Eighty-Four

  • Dan

@Ultima – @what Kissan said, since ABC has yet to announce premiere dates, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some kind of Hour long premiere of either The Middle or Modern Family. However should ABC air them together than 4 episodes in both shows will be celebrating their 100th episodes on the same day. So ABC might want to space that out.

  • Melanie P.

Even though the ratings for Big Brother are down so far this season, I am still enjoying it.

  • Carl

There are plenty of Evil Dick types this season…whether that’s good or not is up to the individual viewer I guess.

The show needs to stop with the scripting and fakeness. Last night Rachel’s sister was clearly struggling to say words she didn’t want to say. This is a fun summer show, not a hostage crisis. When will the producers realize this?

  • r0ckmypants

@Ultima – I thought that was a cop show? My bad.

  • BrieK

    Crossing Lines belongs on CBS.

  • K

Because they are running out of ideas to keep the show fresh

  • joel

Which is why the show is rigged. The producers won’t let Elissa get eliminated because that takes their Rachel gimmick away from them. They’ll plan to have Rachel visit the house later in the summer.

  • Jay

    Big Brother is mindless slop.

  • Nicole

Dammit, I really want Crossing Lines to get better ratings. It’s a good show so far, and it could get much better. It deserves a chance. I thought it was much better than Under the Dome.
I think NBC is dragging CL down. If it were on CBS, it’d probably be performing better. Hopefully, it gets better ratings in France, maybe it’ll have a chance then.

  • TheFrenchGuy

    @ Nicole

Crossing Lines did not premiere in France yet. TF1 produces the Show but we’ll see…

  • Andrew

I bet True Blood and Dexter beat everything on network TV for the night.

  • Josh

    Big Brother beat it!

  • Josh

although combined yeah they beat everything! if that’s what your talking about!

  • Abyalew Bayu

BB got a 0.9, not bad for a repeat!

  • Seriesjunkie

Crossing Lines 650,000 less viewers than last week’s premiere (15% down)and still a very poor 0,7… looks like it’s down and out

  • Valentina_

BB ratings look horrible. CBS needs to start reevaluating this season with another twist

  • Valentina_

They want Rachel’s sister to be their until they’re are tired of her. And then they will dump her at the end. or probably even bring Rachel back .Knowing how this rigged mess is
